  • Publication number: 20010035322
Abstract: A freewheel arrangement, in particular for a guide wheel of a hydrodynamic torque converter, permits a relative rotation between two elements in essentially only one relative rotational direction with respect to one another about an axis of rotation. At least one pawl is pivotably supported on a first of the two elements and has a pawl section which can come into contact with a blocking surface of the second of the two elements. At least one pawl is formed by a plurality of pawl plate elements which can be stamped from sheet metal.

  • Publication number: 20010032767
Abstract: A torsional vibration damper for incorporation into the torque transmission path between two components or subassemblies, especially for a hydrodynamic coupling device, includes at least two disk-like damper members. Each damper member has a radially outward coupling region and a radially inward coupling region, and at least one deformation region extending between the radially outward coupling region and the radially inward coupling region. Each deformation region is elastically deformable at least in some areas to permit a relative circumferential movement between the radially outward coupling region and the radially inward coupling region.

  • Publication number: 20010027649
Abstract: A freewheel unit intended especially for the stator of a hydrodynamic torque converter, allows first and second elements to rotate relative to each other around a rotational axis essentially in only one direction. A locking element carrier extends in the circumferential direction around the rotational axis and comes at least one first locking element which extends away from this carrier toward the first element in a first circumferential direction. At least one first locking element can come to rest against at least one blocking surface provided on the first element to prevent any relative rotation between the first element and the locking element carrier in one direction of relative rotation.

  • Patent number: 6290041
Abstract: A hub arrangement for a hydrodynamic torque converter includes a first hub component forming a first hub area with a first connection area connectable with a converter housing of the torque converter, a second hub component forming a second hub area with a second connection area connectable with a lockup clutch of the torque converter, and a fluid channel arrangement having at least one fluid channel connecting a radial inner area of the hub arrangement with a radial outer area. The first hub component and the second hub component contact one another at least in some areas in surface regions thereof which are located opposite one another. A recess arrangement is arranged in at least one of the oppositely located surface regions of the first and second hub components for forming the fluid channel arrangement.

  • Patent number: 4548503
Abstract: The geometry of rolling-mill rolls is monitored dynamically by projecting light between portions of the two rolls which are formed with circumferential grooves and the resulting light pattern is detected and compared with a pattern prior to start of the rolling operation.

  • Patent number: 4016096
Abstract: The closing method comprises the installing, on the inside rim of the barrel, of a seal having multiple beads and, after filling, the applying of a first hollow lid driven into the barrel down to the level of the seal, then the installing of a conventional flat lid in overlying fashion. The seal can comprise two beads and may assume a U-shape. Application is possible to the transporting of any particularly toxical or radioactive substances.

  • Patent number: 3955798
Abstract: Improved guiding and positioning device for the block and hook of a derrick installed on board a ship, enabling dual speed boring, which, as an assembly formed by the block and the hook, is connected to a carriage sliding on two rails parallel to the axis of the well by two indentical mechanisms ensuring horizontal linear movement of the block and the hook.
