  • Publication number: 20260120426
Abstract: A computer implemented method for object detection comprises the following steps carried out by computer hardware components: acquiring an image of an environment; determining at least one reflection in the image, the at least one reflection being at least one reflection of a light source of an occluded object; determining enhanced reflection information based on the at least one reflection; and detecting the occluded objected based on the enhanced reflection information.

  • Publication number: 20250342657
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for improving vision of a vehicle's environment for one or more users of the vehicle. The method includes aggregating, by a perception module of the vehicle, sensor data provided by a plurality of sensors of the vehicle. The method includes constructing, by the perception module, a three-dimensional (3D) visual world model, based on the aggregated sensor data. The 3D visual world model represents the vehicle and the vehicle's environment. The method includes rendering, by a visualization module of the vehicle, a user's view of the vehicle's environment, based on the constructed 3D visual world model. The method includes providing, by the visualization module, the rendered view to one or more displays for use by the one or more users of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240144696
Abstract: A method of determining information related to a road user in an environment of a vehicle includes receiving, from vehicle sensors, a digital image and a Lidar point cloud. The digital image and the Lidar point cloud represent a scene in the environment of the vehicle. The method includes detecting a road user in the scene based on the received digital image and Lidar point cloud. The method includes generating a combined digital representation of the detected road user by combining corresponding image data and Lidar data associated with the detected road user. The method includes determining information related to the detected road user by processing the combined digital representation of the detected road user.
