Abstract: A microphone module system comprising a microphone module with memory. The microphone module is connected to an original factory installed microphone of a vehicle and connected to an aftermarket radio to allow the original factory installed microphone to be compatible with an aftermarket radio. The microphone module includes a computer program that calibrates the factory installed microphone with the aftermarket radio that is originally embedded in the module memory. A method to remotely flash the module comprises steps of transferring a computer program to the microphone module, installing the microphone module in the vehicle, and calibrating the microphone module with the original factory microphone. The computer program may be specific to a make/model of a vehicle or universally applicable to all vehicles.
