    Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods for super-resolution of non-uniform spatial blur. Non-uniform spatial blur presents unique challenges for conventional neural network processing. Existing implementations attempt to handle super-resolution with a “brute force” optimization. Various embodiments of the present disclosure subdivide the super-resolution function into sub-steps. “Unfolding” super-resolution into smaller closed-form functions allows for operation generic plug-and-play convolutional neural network (CNN) logic. Additionally, each step can be optimized with its own step-specific hyper parameters to improve performance.

    Abstract: A method for constructing a high-resolution merged signal from low-resolution signals acquired by an acquisition device includes acquisition of low-resolution signals (BR), measurement and/or estimation of acquisition parameters, pre-merging of the signals as a function of the low-resolution signals and of the parameters, filtering of the pre-merged signal, transmission of the filtered pre-merged signal and of the parameters, calculation of an estimate of the pre-merged signal by an inverse filtering of the filtered pre-merged signal, and determination, according to a variational method, of the high-resolution merged signal from the estimate of the pre-merged signal and of the parameters, a resolution of the merged signal is greater than a resolution of each signal.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for inpainting a target area in a target video. The method comprises obtaining a multi-resolution representation of the target video, comprising for each resolution, a first video representative of the colors of the target video and a second video representative of the textures of the target video; and for each resolution, reconstructing first and second video in the target area using an information representative of both colors and textures such as to inpaint the target area. The method also relates to a graphics processing unit and to a computer program product for implementing the inpainting method.
