  • Publication number: 20240114038
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for a web object reputation processing, especially in Web3. The method includes: intercepting data transmitted in a data connection related to a current decentralized application running in a user apparatus, wherein the current decentralized application comprises a frontend implementing a web user interface for a user of the user apparatus, and a backend implemented as a smart contract; determining a reputation of a web object related to the frontend of the current decentralized application; and in response to determining that the reputation of the web object is malicious, blocking the data connection.

  • Patent number: 11318377
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for use in an Internet-of-Things (IoT) system are presented. A method performed by a network node in an Internet-of-Things (IoT) system is presenting in an example embodiment. According to this example method, a network node or a plurality of network nodes working collaboratively can obtain data captured by one or more IoT devices and associated with an interactive activity with which different participants interface at different sites. Furthermore, the network node(s) may determine a state of the activity by applying the data to a data model. Moreover, the network node(s) can, in an example method, provide one or more feedback signals to feedback devices associated with one or more of the different sites to actualize the determined state of the activity, where at least two of the different sites have disparate, meaning non-identical, feedback device sets.

  • Patent number: 11190409
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for resource optimization in Internet-of-Things (IoT) networks are presented. For instance, the disclosure presents an example method executed by a network node (106) in an IoT system (100). In some embodiments, the example method includes predicting (202) a likelihood that a future event will be detected by one or more IoT devices (102) in the IoT system (100) under different potential resource allocation and IoT device settings. The predicting (202) is conducted subject to resource availability constraints in some examples. In addition, the example method includes, based on the predicting (202), adapting (204) at least one of resource allocation and IoT device settings in the IoT system (100) for the future time. This adapting (204) is conducted such that the likelihood that the future event will be detected is maximized under the resource availability constraints according to a target optimization function.

  • Publication number: 20070268831
Abstract: A method for network load shaping in a mobile radio network classifies data packets in a packet data stream according to a leaky bucket classification system and optionally delays the data packets in a network device within the mobile radio core network, in order to smooth burst and hence to reduce loss probabilities and the occurrence of delays in the forwarding of data packets from a data source, over the mobile radio network, to a mobile radio terminal in a simple and economical manner.

  • Patent number: 5312812
Abstract: The present invention relates to novel peptides of formulaeXaa Glu Asp Cys Lys (SEQ I.D. No: 1),andGlu Asp Cys Lys (SEQ I.D. No: 2)wherein the Cys sulfur is bonded to an acetamidomethyl group, and Xaa is pyro-Glu, the acid addition salts thereof, the pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same and a process for the preparation of the novel peptides and compositions. The novel peptides selectively inhibit the proliferation of hemopoietic cells. The invention also covers the treatment of mammals (including human beings) with the said peptides and compositions for selectively inhibiting the proliferation of hemopoietic cells. The advantage of the novel compounds is that they are almost completely harmless, they do not have any side-effect in therapeutic dose-range, in addition they significantly inhibit the damaging effects of drugs and radiation used for the therapy of tumorous diseases or the dose of drug or radiation can be increased when they are administered.
