  • Publication number: 20090303251
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods for displaying geo-located imagery are described. The systems may utilize multiple independent quadtree data structures to organize and display geo-located imagery from a variety of sources. A user of the systems described herein may select which geo-located imagery quadtree sets are to be displayed. The user may further select the priority order for the multiple geo-located imagery quadtree sets. The systems may include remote tile servers in communication over the Internet with a local tile server and client at the user's location. The multiple geo-located imagery quadtree sets may include imagery information organized by time of capture, method of capture, and/or source. The imagery may, for example, include photographic imagery, map imagery, and/or charts. The imagery may be supplied by a variety of sources including users and third party imagery providers.

  • Patent number: 6783197
Abstract: A storage system made of cardboard comprising a load bearing structure defining a rectangular storage space and storage elements in the structure, wherein the load bearing structure is a mantle having a U-shaped profile and vertical boundary plates, the mantle (1) comprises a rear plate (2), a pair of side plates (3, 4) and reinforcement beams (5, 6) constituting extension of the side plates and defines at both sides together with the rear plate (2) and side plates (3, 4) respective U-shaped vertical channels open towards inner direction; further comprises upper and lower cross reinforcement members (11a, 11b) fixed to the mantle (1) and close the channels. The channels receive spacing members and the storage elements being generally shelves.

  • Patent number: 4785236
Abstract: Device for measuring voltage by sampling, including a voltage metering sampling means (2) driven by a pilot frequency generator (12), an amplifier (3) to amplify the sampled signal and a signal processing unit (6) to evaluate the amplified signal in accordance with the prescribed measuring task. The device, in accordance with the invention, contains an auxiliary oscillator (14) which produces an auxiliary signal, as well as an amplifier (3) with adjustable amplification, which is located between sampling unit (2) and signal processing unit (6), and a differential circuit (5). The auxiliary signal on one side, together with the voltage to be measured, is connected to signal input (17) of sampling unit (2), on the other side by means of a phase shifter (13) to an input (25) of differential circuit (5).

  • Patent number: 4148959
Abstract: A self adhesion ensuring layer having a total thickness of 0.05 to 0.2 mm is carried on a PVC-foil carrier sheet having a thickness of 0.2 to 0.5 mm. The self adhesion ensuring layer comprises 70 to 100% by weight of synthetic caoutchouc, 0 to 16% by weight bitumin and 0 to 14% by weight talc. A ground layer may be interposed between the carrier sheet and self adhesion ensuring layer. The resultant system is useful for insulation of underground pipe.
