    Abstract: A servo mechanism for a seat part arranged on a support frame for travel in a longitudinal direction in synchronism with an adjustment of a back rest part from a normal position to several predetermined reclined positions, includes a scissor-type articulated lever assembly which is connected to the seat part and the support frame. The articulated lever assembly includes several articulated lever elements. A spring assembly progressively applies a spring force upon the scissor-type articulated lever assembly such that a relative change in angular disposition between the lever elements applies a substantially constant force upon the seat part in every position of the seat part, whereby a relatively great longitudinal travel distance of the seat part is accompanied by a short spring travel during the spring force application.

A return device (13) is provided for returning the back-rest part (15) and/or seating part (14) to the initial position or rest position. The office chair (1) comprises a carrier frame (5) which disposed centrically on the leg frame (2) and which supports in a stationary manner the first axis of rotation (12) on the centre of the leg frame, said axis of rotation remaining at a constant, predetermined distance above the seating part (14) in the rest position and in all inclined positions of the back-rest part (15).

In the path of radiation (16) of the radiation source there are arranged a plurality of partially transparent mirrors (2), in spaced apart arrangement, which serve as radiation distributing elements (1) and are arranged to be rotatable around the radiation axis and around a second axis perpendicular thereto. The partially transparent mirrors (2) are preferably exchangeable. With the aid of the partially transparent mirror of the radiation distributing element (1) a part of the radiation is branched off and deflected and directed to a predetermined desired location.

    Abstract: An adjustable armrest assembly for a chair includes an elongated connector and an elongated armrest member. The elongated connector is mounted securely on the seat and has two opposite side surfaces formed with a respective open-ended horizontal slide slot. The slots are aligned with each other. The elongated armrest member has a horizontal top wall, and two generally L-shaped guide bodies disposed on two opposite side portions of the top wall. Each of the guide bodies includes a vertical plate portion secured to the bottom surface of the top wall at the top end portion thereof, and a horizontal plate portion connected securely to the vertical plate portion. The horizontal plate portions are respectively and slidably engaged within the slide slots of the connector so that the armrest member can be moved on the connector.

The first pneumatic cylinder is mounted uprightly on the movable base. The support frame has an upright sleeve which is sleeved rotatably on a top end of the first pneumatic cylinder, an arm plate which extends forwardly from a top end of the sleeve, and parallel front and rear shafts which are mounted transversely on the arm plate. The pivot frame has a front end that is mounted pivotally on the rear shaft and further has a seat and a backrest fixed thereon. The spring plate unit has a rear end portion which is mounted on the front end of the pivot frame and a front end portion which extends underneath and abuts with the front shaft.
