Then a response to the test request is received from the server. The response is analyzed to identify a pattern in the response indicative of a communication sent via a particular communication path. An available communication path between the mobile device application and the server corresponding to the pattern is identified. Then, a mobile device application is registered with the server via the identified communication path.
