    Abstract: A system and method is provided for forcing evaporation of a solvent from a coating on a surface of a panel. The method includes directing air to flow along the surface of the panel, and generating turbulence in the air within the column, by creating one or more high pressure pulses of air within the airflow, at a chosen frequency. The turbulence travels in the direction of the airflow, replacing air laden with vapor adjacent to the surface of the panel with dry air, thereby accelerating drying.
