  • Patent number: 11641140
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electromechanical battery comprising a single pole-pair Halbach array of permanent magnets incorporated into an annular flywheel, which together comprise a rotor assembly, a means for levitating the rotor assembly using a “double-lift” attractive magnetic levitator under active control, and a means for actively stabilizing the spinning rotor assembly by interaction with the fringe fields of the Halbach array.

  • Patent number: 10544913
Abstract: A LED light fixture includes an LED assembly that emits light when energized through an electrical path. An inner optic is positioned to receive the light. The inner optic comprises a lens that emits the light from the inner optic with a wide beam angle. A reflector is positioned to receive the light emitted from the inner optic. An inner reflector is positioned to asymmetrically reflect the light from the inner optic relative to the reflector.

  • Patent number: 10416150
Abstract: Microdevices are disclosed to efficiently, accurately, and rapidly isolate and enumerate rare cells, such as circulating tumor cells, from liquids such as whole blood. The system employs multiple parallel meandering channels having a width on the order of 1-2 cell diameters. The microdevices can be produced at low-cost, may readily be automated, and in many instances may be used without pre-processing of the sample. They may be used to isolate and enumerate rare cells, including for example the detection and diagnosis of cancers, cancer staging, or evaluating the effectiveness of a therapeutic intervention, or detecting pathogenic bacteria. The device may optionally be used to nondestructively capture and later to release target cells.

  • Patent number: 10409788
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for multi-pass duplicate identification using sorted neighborhoods. Data comprising a plurality of data records is received. Neighborhood records are generated by merging the plurality of data records with reference records stored in a remote data store. A resource identification field is assigned to each reference record. A pair distance, for each pair of neighborhood records having different resource identification fields, is determined by calculating a standard deviation of distances between each attribute of the pair scaled by a filled pairs quote value. Possible duplicate records are identified by evaluating each pair distance against a threshold, each possible duplicate having grouped attributes. Final duplicate records are identified by matching each group to a key.

  • Publication number: 20140096085
Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for representing data fields of a data table are described herein. In one aspect, the method includes determining at least one data field of a data table. Data related to the determined at least one data field is read. A graphical representation of the data related to the determined at least one data field is generated. The generated graphical representation is displayed along with the data table. A user selection of a subset of data displayed on the graphical representation is received. A subset of the data table is displayed based upon the selected subset of data.

  • Patent number: 7089969
Abstract: A Brick Mason Wire Bend tool for use of adjusting the tie wire in masonry construction has the form of a bar having an intermediate bent radius section and opposite end portions which are displaced out of the plane of the intermediate section at an acute angle. The working end portion has four jaws and four slots perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The opposite end is curved and beveled and coated with a poly-carbonate coating. At the base of the central radius on opposite sides are two holes of equal distance and diameter. It is hand tooled, cold bend construction and galvanized.

  • Publication number: 20040231746
Abstract: The Brick Mason Wire Bend is a revolutionary tool designed to bend all types/styles of tie wires that are commonly used in today's construction industry. It eliminates and simplifies the complicated method of proper wire bends. This tool will prove to be indispensable in that it is the first tool of its kind to effectively address and resolve the problems (when the tie in for the wire needs bending due to the height variation of the brick or block) that plague most brick layers. With this tool the brick layer can easily bend the wire to the desired position to make of his/her tie in the wall.
