  • Patent number: 11318477
Abstract: A magnetic separator for the dry separation of material particles having different magnetic susceptibilities includes a rotatable cylinder that has a stationary magnetic device arranged therein, and extending essentially across its length. A sorting chamber is furthermore provided for which extends along at least a portion of the outer surface of the cylinder in the circumferential direction of the cylinder and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder. The magnetic separator includes means for the dispersed output of material particles into the sorting chamber, as well as means for generating a stream of conveying air in the sorting chamber. A motor for rotating the cylinder around its longitudinal axis is included, wherein, during operation, the outer surface of the cylinder is moved by the rotation of the cylinder in a direction essentially perpendicular to the direction of the stream of conveying air.

  • Patent number: 10926270
Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-cyclone and to a method for operating such a multi-cyclone for separating fine material and very fine material. In this context, a multi-cyclone according to the invention has multiple individual cyclones which are of essentially identical construction and which are housed in a housing that has an upper and a lower chamber. Via a supply into the lower chamber it is possible to introduce in a targeted manner cyclone regulating air which can be used to set the quantity, the fineness and/or the purity of the material separated by means of the multi-cyclone.

Abstract: The invention relates to a magnetic separator for the dry separation of material particles having different magnetic susceptibilities, wherein a rotatable cylinder that comprises a stationary magnetic device arranged therein, and extending essentially across its length, is disposed. A sorting chamber is furthermore provided for which extends along at least a portion of the outer surface of the cylinder in the circumferential direction of the cylinder and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder. • Publication number: 20180185851
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for preparing and activating a raw material, wherein the raw material is comminuted by means of grinding rollers in a mill-classifier combination, and wherein the mill-classifier combination is set and operated to produce a ground product with a fineness of between D50=3 ?m and D50=12 ?m. Here, a part of the grinding product is comminuted by means of the mill-classifier combination to a diameter of <5 ?m. Subsequently the ground product is subjected to a further classification in an ultrafine grain classifier unit which has a separation threshold in order to separate ultrafine grain with a fineness of <D50=6 ?m. The invention further relates to an installation configuration for carrying out the method according to the invention.

  • Publication number: 20160076763
Abstract: The invention relates to a central burner for multi-fuel multiple lance burner systems having a central lance with an inner pipe and an outer pipe. The inner pipe and the outer pipe form an annular clearance duct. A plurality of outer lances are arranged around the central lance. A funnel-like mixing device is provided in the extension of the annular clearance duct in the region of the end of the inner pipe. This funnel-like mixing device has openings in its wall for combustion media to flow through. The outer lances each have a nozzle which has openings along the lateral circumferential area, said openings being arranged asymmetrically.

  • Publication number: 20080296422
Abstract: The invention relates to a roller mill, particularly intended for dressing ores. To reduce the energy demand for comminution and classifying a grinding product, a classifying device is positioned below the grinding area and to it is supplied the comminuted ground material under gravity action, as well as classifying air from an annular chamber in the lower region of the grinding bowl and which has at least one fine material outlet and coarse material outlet.
