Patent number: 12638894Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for effectuating centralized intelligent power management, where a centralized intelligent power management system receives power delivery information from power sources and power management profiles associated with devices that receive/are to receive power from such power sources. The centralized intelligent power management system can determine a given feature set support by a device, yet remains within the power delivery budget of a power source. Such a feature set can be represented as a configuration that is transmitted from the centralized intelligent power management system to a device. Upon configuring/re-configuring itself, the device may now provide the given feature set while remaining within the power constraints of its power source.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2023Date of Patent: May 26, 2026Assignee: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LPInventors: Andre Beaudin, Frederic Mouveaux, Omar El Ferkouss, Stephane Laroche, Mathieu Mercier

Publication number: 20260113272Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for implementing enhanced Low Latency, Low Loss, and Scalable throughput (L4S) mechanisms at a bottleneck network node to detect and more accurately/selectively address congestion. Low and high watermark limits can be established for access category (AC) queues at the bottleneck network node, such as an access point (AP). Incoming packets can be analyzed to determine their priority, and then assigned to an AC queue. Depending on the state of a queue (whose thresholds can differ) packets can be marked or not marked with a “congestion experienced” (CE) indication. Additionally, if a congestion indication is received by an AP from a receiver application, but the congestion no longer exists, the AP can forgo forwarding this feedback upstream.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 21, 2024Publication date: April 23, 2026Inventors: JIANPO HAN, MOHD SHAHNAWAZ SIRAJ, ANDRE BEAUDIN, OMAR EL FERKOUSS

Publication number: 20250330793Abstract: An example method and a network device are presented that identifies the right set of roaming targets including one or more non-radiofrequency (RF) neighbor access points (APs) to which roaming provisioning credentials may be provided in advance of the client devices roaming in their network coverage areas. In some examples, the network device may use a machine learning model to identify a first set of roaming targets comprising one or more non-RF neighbor APs corresponding to a source AP of a client device in the network infrastructure. Then the network device may determine first roaming provisioning credentials for the first set of roaming targets, and transmit the first roaming provisioning credentials to the first set of roaming targets in advance of the client device roaming to any of the first set of roaming targets.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 23, 2024Publication date: October 23, 2025Inventors: Mohd Shahnawaz Siraj, Andre Beaudin, Omar El Ferkouss, Sachin Ganu

Publication number: 20250301325Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for protecting link transitions from anomalous behaviors on links formed between multi-link devices (MLDs) in multi-link operation (MLO). Examples detect, by a first MLD, an anomaly related to a second MLD based on receiving a plurality of link transition trigger signals from the second MLD. The second MLD having been authenticated for MLO with the first MLD. In response to detecting the anomaly the second MLD is de-authenticated for MLO with the first MLD. In some examples, while de-authenticated for MLO, the second MLD can then be authenticated for single-link operation (SLO).Type: ApplicationFiled: March 19, 2024Publication date: September 25, 2025Inventors: ANDRE BEAUDIN, OMAR EL FERKOUSS, JIANPO HAN

Publication number: 20250247868Abstract: Examples of the presently disclosed technology provide a methodology for enabling APs to broadcast 6 GHz communications in the Standard Power mode more quickly while awaiting an Automated Frequency Coordination (AFC) response from an AFC vendor. Examples can also enable an AP that is unable to send an AFC query to an AFC vendor (e.g., because the AP cannot obtain its own GPS coordinates) to broadcast 6 GHz communications in the Standard Power mode. To realize these advantages, examples provide a methodology for sharing an AFC response received by a first AP in a WLAN deployment with other APs in the WLAN deployment. The other APs can then leverage the shared AFC response to enable 6 GHz communication in the Standard Power mode while they wait for their own AFC responses from the AFC vendor.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 29, 2024Publication date: July 31, 2025Inventors: OMAR EL FERKOUSS, Nethra Muniyappa, Andre Beaudin

Patent number: 12232018Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating an MBSSID virtual access point (VAP) to facilitate an uninterrupted MBSSID. An access point (AP) can determine characteristics, or network properties, of VAPs associated with the AP. The AP can generate an MBSSID VAP based on the characteristics of the VAPs. An MBSSID beacon can be generated using the MBSSID VAP as a transmitted VAP (TX VAP) of the MBSSID beacon. The MBSSID VAP serves as a TX-VAP that is not subject to changes and does not need to be interrupted to have changes made to it. As the MBSSID VAP serves as a TX VAP that is not subject to changes or interruptions, the MBSSID based on the MBSSID VAP does not need to be interrupted for changes to be made to other VAPs associated with the MBSSID.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2021Date of Patent: February 18, 2025Assignee: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LPInventors: Subbiah Nagarajan Veerabudran, Andre Beaudin, Abhiruchi Dakshinkar, Omar El Ferkouss, Qiang Zhou
