Abstract: A personal tracking assembly includes a base bracelet that is worn around a caregiver's wrist. A tracking unit is integrated into the base bracelet and the tracking unit is actuated to emit an audible alert and a haptic alert. A remote bracelet is worn around a wrist of a respective individual that is being supervised by the caregiver. A broadcasting unit is integrated into the remote bracelet and the broadcasting unit is in wireless communication with the tracking unit. The tracking unit emits the audible alert and the haptic alert when the tracking unit determines the broadcasting unit has moved beyond a predetermined distance from the tracking unit. In this way the broadcasting unit facilitates to the caregiver to be alerted that the respective individual is potentially in danger of becoming lost or kidnapped.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods of controlling scheduling of displays presented in response to data indicative of user inputs from user terminals in a computerised system are disclosed. A performance metric is determined for a response by a data processing apparatus configured to respond to user terminals, the response being provided in accordance with a strategy of scheduling displays when responding to data indicative of at least one user input. A response performance score is computed based on the determined performance metric and a reference metric representative of a preferred result when responding data indicative of user inputs. It can then be determined, based on the response performance score, whether the strategy of scheduling displays when responding data indicative of user inputs needs a change.

A funnel having an open top end and an open bottom end is couplable to the perimeter wall such that the funnel extends downwardly from an opening into the interior space. The funnel extends away from the perimeter wall wherein the funnel is configured for inhibiting spit within the interior space from passing back out through the opening. A lid is couplable to the funnel such that the interior space is enclosed and sealed by the funnel and the lid preventing spit in the interior space from passing out of the interior space. A base wall may define a compartment under the bottom wall.

Abstract: A selection process is defined for items provided by an e-commerce site to shoppers' web browsers. One or more selection attributes are identified for each e-commerce shop item. A selection function is defined in association with each selected attribute. At least one rule is defined for combining one or many of selection scores from respective selection functions to obtain an item score. The selection process is then defined as selecting items in response to the item scores.
