  • Publication number: 20260047830
Abstract: An alignment unit for a medical instrument includes a stator housing in which a drive unit, preferably in the form of a handpiece, can be accommodated, a threaded bolt with an external thread portion connecting the threaded bolt to the stator housing, and a carrier with an internal thread portion connecting the carrier to the stator housing. The external thread portion of the threaded bolt and the internal thread portion of the carrier are formed so as to be opposed to one another and are fixed by rotational movement in opposite directions such that the carrier and the threaded bolt are axially in contact with one another. The alignment unit can be assembled using an assembly method in which the threaded bolt is screwed into the stator housing.

  • Publication number: 20260041439
Abstract: A medical motor handpiece for driving a distal end effector includes a handle portion and a preferably sleeve-shaped operating element that is held to rotate about a handle longitudinal axis at a distal end portion of the handle portion. The operating element can be coupled to the end effector so as to transform a rotational movement of the operating element in a first direction of rotation into a movement of the end effector. In the event of a rotational movement of the operating element in a second direction of rotation, opposite the first direction of rotation, a function on the end effector can be effected. The medical motor handpiece can be a component of a medical manual instrument that has an end effector coupled to the medical motor handpiece via a shaft in order to transfer torque from the motor handpiece to the end effector.

  • Publication number: 20260016052
Abstract: A coupling for a medical instrument includes a rotatable rotor shaft and a shaft. The shaft has a coupling portion that can be inserted axially in the rotor shaft for the purpose of form-fitting, torque-transmitting coupling, as well as an alignment portion which is adjusted to the rotor shaft such that, during coupling, it aligns the shaft in a predetermined rotational position about its longitudinal axis. The alignment portion is axially spaced from the coupling portion of the shaft such that the shaft, during coupling, is aligned in the predetermined rotational position before the coupling portion of the shaft comes into form-fitting, torque-transmitting engagement with the rotor shaft. The coupling can be part of a medical instrument.

  • Publication number: 20250235216
Abstract: A medical tool system includes a tool holder formed in a distal instrument portion adjoined by a proximal instrument portion. The proximal instrument portion is bendable relative to the distal instrument portion. A tool can be accommodated in the tool holder and pivoted relative to the tool holder. A first coupling device is arranged in the distal instrument portion. A second coupling device is arranged on the tool. In a coupling state, the second coupling device realizes a coupling between the tool and the distal shaft portion by operative engagement with the first coupling device to fix the tool in the distal shaft portion in the axial direction.

  • Publication number: 20250204931
Abstract: A surgical tool is adapted to be inserted into an instrument shaft of a surgical instrument. The tool includes a distal tool tip, a tool shaft extending from the distal tool tip in a proximal direction and having a distal bearing portion as well as a drive portion arranged proximally to the distal bearing portion. The drive portion is formed for positive engagement with a drive shaft of the surgical instrument. A bearing bush is mounted on the distal bearing portion and has a bearing coupling element for releasable coupling with an instrument shaft of the surgical instrument.

  • Patent number: 10007104
Abstract: An endoscope includes an outer shaft with a distal end whose surface is configured by a cylindrical mantle surface and a curved front surface, such that the distal end of the outer shaft includes a mantle component and a curved front component that is joined to the mantle component. A distance of an interface between the mantle component and the front component from an edge between the mantle surface and the curved front surface is no greater than a wall thickness of the mantle component or no greater than a wall thickness of the front component.

  • Patent number: 9759903
Abstract: A drying agent arrangement for optical instruments, in particular for endoscopic instruments, having a hygroscopic substance in the instrument housing, such that the hygroscopic substance, configured as individual molded bodies, is positioned in an intake receptacle that can be replaceably inserted in the instrument housing. To provide a drying agent arrangement that, along with simple, versatile application, allows the intake of a great quantity of drying agent, the intake receptacle may be configured as a double-walled sleeve, such that the two walls, forming an intake space for the molded bodies of the hygroscopic substance, are radially distanced from one another and positioned in such a way that the walls, closing the intake space at one axial end of the sleeve, are connected with one another at the end and on the other axial end of the sleeve, releasing the intake space, are radially distanced from one another at the end.
