  • Patent number: 5080336
Abstract: A device for clamping or immobilizing workpieces to be machined includes a casing adapted to be fixed to a worktable and in which is disposed a mobile part rotatable about a horizontal axis. The mobile part has a toothed sector cooperating with a lead screw. It also has an arm forming a lever whose end is adapted to bear on the workpiece to be machined. The arm is removably mounted in the mobile part and able to move in translation in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the mobile part.

  • Patent number: 5077897
Abstract: A scraper tool particularly useful for hand deburring holes as well as concave and straight surfaces includes a scraper blade being integrally formed with a front part, an intermediate part, and a back part joined to a shank at the back end of the scraper blade, which shank is fixed to the handle. The front, intermediate and back parts are all of triangular section and define three exposed, continuous sharp edges extending axially of the scraper blade. These sharp edges converge toward each other at the front part and coming to a point at the front tip of the scraper blade, are parallel to each other at the intermediate part, and converge toward each other at the back part to the juncture with the shank.

  • Patent number: 5072514
Abstract: A scraper tool particularly useful for hand deburring internal rounded corners, holes an concave surfaces includes a scraper blade integrally formed with a front part having a scraping edge, and a back part joined to a shank at the back end fixed to the handle. The front face of the front part is of circular configuration and is cut at an oblique angle to the plane passing perpendicularly to the scraper blade to define a continuous oblong scraping edge.

  • Patent number: 5056225
Abstract: A scraper tool particularly useful for hand deburring various surfaces at different cutting angles, includes a scraper blade of rectangular section defining four continuous sharp edges extending axially of the scraper blade. The thickness of the rectangular section is preferably larger along one transverse dimension than along the other transverse dimension of the section, with the larger dimension decreasing from one end of the scraper blade to the opposite end. The front face of the front end of the scraper blade is of rectangular configuration and forms an oblique angle to the plane passing perpendicularly through the scraper blade, thereby forming four additional sharp edges extending peripherally around the scraper blade.

  • Patent number: 4915367
Abstract: The embodiments of the invention described relate to clamping apparatus for parts to be machined comprising cramps presenting elastically deformable fingers which engage the flanks of the part to be machined and rigid fingers which abut the part, a T-grooved bed-plate, sliders bearing the cramps, and locking braces for locking the sliders on the bed-plate. Eccentrics enable the cramps to be advanced on the slider to bend the deformable fingers and bring the rigid fingers into abutment with the part. The opposite cramps are secured to the bed-plate in alignment with a reference face perpendicular to the grooves. Lateral grooves are provided for engagement by clamps to fix the bed-plate to a table of a machine tool. Cramps are provided in recesses under the sides of the bed-plate for alternative engagement by the jaws of a vice. Variants are described, which enable parts with non-parallel sides to be clamped. The clamping apparatus is particularly suitable for repetitive use (mass production).

  • Patent number: 4500081
Abstract: A clamp for clamping parts on cutting machine tools includes a housing containing a rotary disc having a clamp arm and a toothed sector projecting from the disc which meshes with a tangential screw which rotates the disc to apply a clamping force to the clamp arm. The disc is journalled in a pair of cheek members that are fixed within the housing, and cooperate with the disc to present cylindrical radial bearing surfaces and planar annular lateral bearing surfaces. The annular lateral bearing surfaces of the disc are contiguous with the cylindrical outer surface of the disc on which a pair of scraper blades run, and the annular lateral bearing surfaces of the cheeks are substantially flush with the inner wall of the housing so as to protect the housing against ingress of foreign matter. The diameter of the outer cylindrical surface portion of the disc is less than the inner diameter of the toothed sector to enable a fixing screw to be accessible by a tool from the top of the housing.

  • Patent number: 4455747
Abstract: A hand tool for deburring or chamfering a work piece, of the kind comprising: a mount, a handle solid with the mount, a cutting tool adjustably secured to the mount so as to present a cutting edge substantially perpendicular to the handle and the mount, and a bearing member, characterized in that the bearing member is mounted adjacent the cutting tool and is provided with two side faces defining therebetween an angle of 45.degree. to bear on the respective sides of the edge of the work piece, the bearing member having at least one fulcrum, an imaginary line joining the fulcrum with the cutting edge being inclined relative to the axis of the handle by an angle in the range of 8.degree. to 16.degree..

  • Patent number: 4120490
Abstract: The clamping device comprises a housing and an anchoring device for fixing the housing to the table of a machine tool. A jaw for clamping the work to be machined to the table and a lever extending the jaw are both pivotally mounted on a pivot pin carried by the housing. An actuating device engages one end of the lever for shifting the lever about the pivot pin and is accessible from outside the housing. A detachable coupling device renders the lever rigid with the jaw in any one of a number of relative angular positions so that, when the actuating device shifts the lever, the lever and the jaw move together for clamping the work. A spacer block can be combined with the clamping device. The block has on its top side a cavity for receiving the anchor device of the clamping device and a lock member for engaging an aperture in the housing.
