  • Patent number: 12340237
Abstract: The example embodiments are directed to systems and methods which may provide a guided user interface session for user input to a software process based on annotations added to a process model of the software process. In one example, a method may include receiving runtime data of an instance of software process from a workflow engine that is executing the instance of the software process, determining a process activity that is excepted to happen next within the running instance of the software process, identifying GUI and a subset of input elements within the GUI which are mapped to the determined process activity based on annotations within a process model of the software process, highlighting the identified subset of input elements and disabling any remaining input elements within the GUI to generate a guided GUI, and displaying the guided GUI via a computing system of a user.

  • Patent number: 12338741
Abstract: A system for generating power includes a turbine generator for generating alternating current (AC) power and a power electronics module that provides a first signal to the turbine generator to switch an operating mode of the turbine generator from an off mode to a startup mode. The first signal is variable frequency power. The system includes a controller that provides a second signal that causes the turbine generator to switch from a normal operating mode to a coast down mode. In the startup mode, the turbine generator accelerates to a full rotational rate and in the coast down mode, the turbine generator decelerates from the full rotational rate to a stop over an interval of time. The system includes a power converter that converts rotational inertia by the turbine generator into direct current (DC) power responsive to the turbine generator operating in the coast down mode.

  • Patent number: 12336977
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to nitenin analogue compounds (of formulas I, II, III and IV) and their use as pharmaceutical agent in the treatment, prevention or reduction of both acute and chronic pain. The mode of action disclosed herein allows nitenin and nitenin analogue compounds to act as analgesic through reduction of K30 currents rather than their potentiation. Related to their high efficacy in the treatment of pain, these compounds are highly selective for slow voltage-activated potassium (K30 ) currents expressed in the small diameter dorsal root neurons (sDRGns), mainly on those mediated by the voltage-dependent potassium channel (KV), KV1.3. Such findings, together with those showing that nitenin and nitenin analogue compounds act as activity dependent blockers also lead to very reduced side-effects.
