  • Publication number: 20250064771
Abstract: The invention comprises a process and composition relating to the use of an artificial blood that is a pharmaceutically acceptable solution of an iron amino acid chelate. The composition is directed to a hemoglobin free artificial blood composition made from one or more amino acids known to be bound to the hemoglobin molecule but free of hemoglobin for purposes of this invention. The hemoglobin free amino acids are chelated with iron [ferrous or ferric], oxygenated, and used as an artificial blood replacement for whole blood or as a component of an artificial blood composition. The iron component of the amino acid chelate is oxygenated to enable the chelate to carry oxygen throughout the body. To form a solution suitable for transfusion, the oxygen bearing iron chelate of the amino acid is dissolved, to the extent necessary, preferably in an isotonic saline solution.

  • Publication number: 20240343679
Abstract: The invention comprises a process and composition relating to the use of an artificial blood that is a pharmaceutically acceptable solution of an iron amino acid chelate. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the amino acid chelate is formed from a glycinate from pyridine or a bis pyridine. In use, the amino acid chelate is dissolved in a suitable carrier fluid such as an isotonic saline solution and transfused into an individual suffering trauma from loss of blood.

  • Publication number: 20120116910
Abstract: This invention relates to method for using a computer to facilitate an auction of an interest in real estate on the World Wide Web wherein an owner inputs into a computer relevant parameters pertaining to the real estate interest on offer. The real estate interest and related data are then posted on a website on the World Wide Web to create a searchable database which is made available to prospective purchasers. Prospective purchasers may to submit a conditional offer or offers to purchase the selected real estate interest which is transmitted to the owner of the real estate interest on offer. If the property on offer receives multiple offers, the respective conditional offers to purchase are posted on the website to encourage additional higher offers. The provider of the website earns a fee for the service of connecting the buyer and seller of the subject interest in real estate.

  • Publication number: 20080015981
Abstract: A fuel supplier, having one or more retail outlets, sells a fuel futures contract to a consumer at a price per unit volume for the fuel set at the time of creating the futures contract. The fuel futures contact is pre-paid by the consumer thereby creating a credit balance with the supplier against future purchases of fuel. The credit is taken by the consumer at any desired time, optionally within a defined term, by the purchase of fuel at a price per unit volume of fuel preset at the time of purchase of the futures contact. Each purchase of fuel results in a commensurate decrease in the consumer's credit balance with the supplier.
