  • Publication number: 20250082327
Abstract: A medical instrument includes an elongate shaft, a handle coupled to a proximal portion of the elongate shaft, an axle rotatably mounted to the handle and configured so that rotation of the axle causes the elongate shaft to rotate about an axis of the elongate shaft, and an axle catch disposed at least partially within the handle, the axle catch being actuatable between a locked position, in which the axle catch impedes rotation of the axle, and an unlocked position, in which the axle catch permits rotation of the axle. Mounting the handle on a robotic manipulator causes the axle catch to automatically transition from the locked position to the unlocked position.

  • Publication number: 20250084749
Abstract: Methods for determining formation density of downhole formations include obtaining first density data (?SS) using a short-spaced detector configured to detect reflections of a signal transmitted into the downhole formation, obtaining second density data (?LS) using a long-spaced detector configured to detect reflections of the transmitted signal from the downhole formation, wherein the long-spaced detector is located a greater distance from a source than the short-spaced detector, and determining if a measured data point based on ?SS and ?LS falls within a unity area of a spine-and-rib plot. When the measured data point falls within the unity area, the formation density using a first mathematical relationship is determined and when the measured data point falls outside the unity area, the formation density using a second mathematical relationship different from the first mathematical relationship is determined.

  • Publication number: 20250084965
Abstract: A propane tank with a valve passage containing a valve has a protection cap with a projecting pin which extends into the passage adjacent the valve to provide a secondary seal. The projecting pin is defined by an annular sleeve surrounding a hollow interior extending up to the upper wall where the sleeve has an outside surface tapered from the upper wall to the remote end and an inside surface tapered from the remote end to the upper wall and the passage carries an O-ring seal arranged so that movement of the upper wall in a direction away from the passage caused by pressure release is insufficient to cause release of the secondary seal between the projecting pin member from the O-ring seal. The projecting element extends into the hollow interior to a position beyond the remote end of an actuating pin of the valve.

  • Publication number: 20250084389
Abstract: It was previously demonstrated that the RAC2 G12R mutation rapidly induced HSPCs cell death and hematopoiesis regulation. Now, the invention evaluated the impact of said mutation on three tumor cell lines: MDA-MB-231 (mammary gland adeno-carcinoma), HT29 (colorectal adenocarcinoma) and HepG2 (hepatocellular carcinoma). Briefly, cells were transduced with a lentiviral vector containing the green fluorescent protein (GFP) reporter cDNA (WPI) or a wild type form of RAC2 cDNA (WT) or a RAC2 mutated cDNA form (G12R). The inventors showed that the number of GFP+ cells is drastically lower in the G12R condition as compared to the WT and WPI conditions. The cell morphology and content are particularly disrupted. These observations were confirmed in a time-course proliferation assay performed on MDA-MB-231 and HT29 cell lines. Altogether, these data underlie the deleterious impact of the RAC2 G12R mutation on tumor cell lines proliferation.

  • Publication number: 20250086223
Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product are provided for providing a multi-perspective multimedia output. In one embodiment, this comprises a first captured version of an event from a first capturing device and a second captured version of the event from a second capturing device. A geolocation polygon is then calculated based on a geolocation of the first capturing device used as a first point of reference, and a geolocation of the second capturing device used as a second point of reference. An ephemeral cloud is then established by determining any digital resources available within the geolocation polygon. The first and second captured versions are then processed by using the resources available within said ephemeral cloud. A single output is then generated using the processed first and second captured versions. The single output is a combination of the first and second captured versions.
