  • Publication number: 20250103950
Abstract: A method for time-series forecasting for time-series data with a periodic behavior larger than a respective sampling rate is disclosed. The method includes selecting candidate time lag values from measured time-series data, determining first training data based on time-series data and the candidate time lag values, and training of a first machine-learning system, thereby determining a subset of the set of the first training data. The method further includes building second training data, training of a second machine-learning system for time-series predictions when using measured sampled time-series data as input. A first performance indicator value is indicative of a prediction performance of the first time-series machine-learning model. The method further includes determining that an element of the set of second training data is significant for the training of the first time-series machine-learning model and determining that the set of second training data is complete.

  • Publication number: 20250105527
Abstract: A reflective device includes a control element and an array of reflective elements. Each reflective element of the array of reflective elements has an antenna element and a phase shifter and is under control of the control element so as to reflect a radio-frequency (RF) signal incident on the each reflective element with an adjustable phase shift, where different phase shifts are realized by the phase shifter channeling the RF signal into a specific one of a number of different delay lines. Each of the different delay lines includes an extension unit configured to extract a portion of a power of the RF signal channeled into the respective specific one delay line by the phase shifter and to measure or estimate the voltage, the current and/or the power of the extracted portion of the RF signal.

  • Publication number: 20250085998
Abstract: A method of coordinating allocation of radio processing operations associated with multiple vRAN nodes to shared computing resources is provided. The method includes receiving, by a centralized Acceleration Abstraction Layer (AAL) broker implemented on top of a shared accelerating computing infrastructure, an operation request from a virtual operation associated with a vRAN node, the operation request specifying an operation to be accelerated. The AAL broker selects, using a predefined or configurable scheduling policy, a physical hardware accelerator for accelerated execution of the operation. The AAL broker forwards the operation request to a processing queue of the selected hardware accelerator.

  • Publication number: 20240230102
Abstract: A method is disclosed for air canning food in an oven cavity (12), where air, not water, is the cooking medium. Using a dedicated air canning algorithm, a temperature of the oven cavity (12) is adjusted in a plurality of temperature and/or time regulated canning stages. An initial pre-heat stage targets a preheat temperature and can maintain the preheat temperature for a predetermined period of time to achieve container (12) sterilization. A subsequent post-heat (canning) stage maintains the cavity at a postheat (canning) temperature to effectively can food. A specialized air canning rack (100) permits the hot, circulating air to freely access substantially the entire periphery of the canning containers (12) during the air canning process.
