According to the invention, the drying assembly comprises a plurality of supply means (5), with the aid of which the moist material (1) can be placed onto the drying surface (2), wherein the supply means (5) are arranged such that said means are distributed between the first end face (4) and a second end face (10) of the drying surface (2), said second end face (10) being located opposite the first end face (4).
