An entity computing device transmits a request to a remote computing device to define a transaction code and an associated symbology used to request personal data, which are returned to the requesting entity computing device. When a user scans the symbology using a user electronic device, the user electronic device determines the transaction code based on the symbology and transmits the transaction code to the remote computing device. The remote computing device identifies the user of the user electronic device and the personal data to transmit for the user with the user electronic device and transmits the personal data to the entity computing device, which uses the personal data to populate an online form or other construct.
