  • Publication number: 20250140988
Abstract: A cell module for an electrical energy store of a motor vehicle includes at least two cell packs that are connected together and each have a plurality of interconnected storage cells, a cell module frame having at least two frame portions arranged adjacent to one another each for receiving one cell pack, a cover arranged on the cell module frame for covering the frame portions, and at least one heat-resistant firewall-type barrier arranged on the cover to overlap a transition between the two cell packs. The barrier is designed to divide a space adjacent to the cover into at least two fire compartments in order to prevent hot gas of a cell pack that is flowing into the space from spreading to an adjacent cell pack.

  • Patent number: 12155080
Abstract: A protective unit is provided for a battery module of a high-voltage battery of a motor vehicle for electrically insulating cell housings of prismatic battery cells of the battery module, which battery cells are stacked to form a cell stack. A cell-contacting system of the battery module interconnects the battery cells by electrically connecting cell terminals of the battery cells. The protective unit includes a pre-formed intermediate layer made of an electrically insulating material, which intermediate layer can be applied to a side of the cell stack having the cell terminals and can be arranged between the side of the cell stack having the cell terminals and the cell-contacting system. The intermediate layer has a number of cut-outs which corresponds to the number of cells terminals. The cut-outs are provided for the feeding through of the cell terminals when the intermediate layer is applied to the cell stack.

  • Patent number: 12128750
Abstract: An energy store-floor assembly for a motor vehicle includes an electrical energy storage device that has a plurality of battery modules and that is accommodated in a multipart storage housing and arranged on the underside of a vehicle floor of the motor vehicle. In order to provide an energy store-floor assembly for a motor vehicle in which the energy storage device is connected to the motor vehicle bodyshell in an improved manner, the battery modules of the energy storage device are connected to the vehicle floor in a central region of the storage housing by way of a plurality of mechanical connecting elements.

  • Publication number: 20230111535
Abstract: A battery for a motor vehicle includes a first stack of battery cells, a pressure being applied to the battery cells in the stack direction of the battery cells in the first stack, and a second stack of battery cells, the second stack being arranged adjacently to the first stack in the stack direction. A pressure is also applied to the battery cells of the second stack in the stack direction. A pressure plate, to which the pressure is applied in the stack direction, is arranged in an intermediate space formed between the first stack and the second stack, and the pressure plate is made of plastic at least in the contact regions where the pressure plate contacts the first stack and the second stack.
