  • Publication number: 20160160996
Abstract: The invention relates to a spindle drive for converting between a rotational motion and a translational motion comprising a spindle for translational motion and a spindle nut for rotational motion, wherein the spindle and the spindle nut are coupled to each other by means of threads. The spindle nut comprises a reservoir in axial extension of the thread of the spindle nut, in which reservoir a segment of the spindle extends. A lubricant is accommodated in the reservoir, and a displacement element is attached to the spindle in the region of the reservoir, which displacement element extends further outward radially than the thread of the spindle.

  • Patent number: 8974382
Abstract: A new medical tube guiding device, the device including a first patient engaging portion configured to engage a zone of an upper jaw of the patient and a second patient engaging portion configured to engage a zone of a lower jaw of the patient. The first and second patient engaging zones are biased apart to provide a working gap between them. The invention also provides for a guide means for a medical tube that is supportable on one or both of the patient engaging portions and locatable relative to the patient engaging portions to guide the medical tube through the working gap into a mouth of the patient.

  • Patent number: 7913930
Abstract: A spray linkage (10) for a crop sprayer includes a support (16) and a central frame (18) pivotally connected to the support (16), the central frame (18) being pivotable about an axis (32) from a neutral position. At least one hydraulic cylinder (34, 36) is fastened at one end to the support (16) and at the other end to the central frame (18). To damp the spray linkage (10) during oscillating movements, at least a first hydraulic cylinder (34, 36) has a first and a second hydraulic chamber (44, 46, 48, 50), a first hydraulic line (52, 54) is provided which discharges into the first hydraulic chamber (44, 46) and a second hydraulic line (54, 52) is provided which discharges into the second hydraulic chamber (48, 50). Restrictor structure (58, 60, 62, 64) throttles hydraulic flow from a hydraulic chamber (44, 46, 48, 50) while hydraulic flow into a hydraulic chamber (44, 46, 48, 50) is relatively unthrottled.

  • Publication number: 20040152791
Abstract: This invention relates to a new method for producing an iron-based Fischer-Tropsch catalyst composition wherein the main iron phase is ferrihydrite in a precipitation reaction. It has been found that the reduction of Fe(III) species to Fe(II), and thus an increase in the Fe(II)/Fe(III) ratio, prior to precipitation affects the crystallite size of the crystallite particles of the catalyst, and enhances the olefin selectivity of the catalyst. The reduction of the Fe(III) species to Fe(II) can be attained in situ by the addition of a reduction agent (such as oxalic acid or formic acid) during the catalyst preparation method.
