Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for communication between radio transceiver devices via meta-surface. A method is performed by a first radio transceiver device. The first radio transceiver device is communicating with a second radio transceiver device via at least one meta-surface over a radio propagation channel. The method comprises performing random access procedures with the second radio transceiver device. Each random access procedure corresponds to a respective activation setting of the at least one meta-surface. The method comprises selecting one of the activation settings for the at least one meta-surface. The method comprises transmitting an indication of the selected activation setting to the second radio transceiver device and a controller of the at least one meta-surface. The method comprises communicating with the second radio transceiver device over the radio propagation channel and via the at least one meta-surface.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system with sensors deployed around a blast site for determining whether each explosive of a blast system has detonated successfully. There is also disclosed a system for determining where the different sensors are to be deployed around the blast site for optimal sensing and data collection using multiple of a sensor or multiple sensors. An aspect of the present disclosure provides a method of determining detonation of explosives of a blast based on a blast plan. The method comprises receiving sensor data from sensors monitoring the blast; pre-processing the received sensor data; and determining outcomes of the blast based on the pre-processed data in correlation with the blast plan.

Abstract: A tow attachment for a watercraft is disclosed. The tow attachment is configured to attach a tow rope to the watercraft, and has a first part and a second part that is connected to the first part by a connecting portion. The first part is configured for rigid connection to the watercraft, and the second part is configured to attach to the tow rope. The second part disconnects from the first part about the connecting portion in response to the tow rope applying a load above a predetermined load to the second part. A tow pylon assembly having a tow pylon and the tow attachment connected to the tow pylon is also disclosed. A watercraft with the tow attachment and a watercraft with the tow pylon assembly are also disclosed.

Abstract: A first method is disclosed, which is performed in a first node. The method is for controlling a radio reflector of a second node by using a first plurality, N, of control coefficients. The radio reflector comprises reflector elements, and each reflector element is controllable by a respective one of the control coefficients. The method comprises representing the first plurality of control coefficients by a second plurality of approximation coefficients for transmission to the second node, wherein the second plurality is smaller than the first plurality, and wherein the second plurality of approximation coefficients comprises two or more, P, groups of approximation coefficients, each group representing a low rank approximation (LRA) of the first plurality of control coefficients, and each group comprising a respective third plurality, Rp, of collections of approximation coefficients. A second method is also disclosed, which is performed in the second node.

Abstract: An accessory holder for connecting an accessory to a support has an anchor being configured to be inserted in an aperture defined in the support and for selectively connecting the accessory holder to the support; an accessory connector connected to the anchor; and an accessory lock operatively connected to the anchor. The accessory connector being rotatable about a rotation axis. The accessory connector is configured for connecting to the accessory. With the accessory lock being locked, rotation of the accessory connector about the rotation axis is restricted. With the accessory lock being unlocked, rotation of the accessory connector about the rotation axis is permitted.

Abstract: A fender for a watercraft having a watercraft body. The watercraft body defines an aperture. The fender has: a fender body; an anchor distinct from the fender body, the anchor being configured to be inserted in the aperture defined in the watercraft body and for selectively connecting the fender to the watercraft body; and a link distinct from the fender body and from the anchor, the link connecting the fender body to the anchor. The fender body is made from a flexible material. The anchor is made from a rigid material. The link is made from a resilient material. A watercraft having the fender is also disclosed.

Abstract: A cleat adapter connectable to a U-shaped tow eye includes a first portion and a second portion connected to the first portion that define an adapter body. The adapter body defines a passage to receive and capture a portion of the U-shaped tow eye. The adapter body includes: a first member, a second member, and an arm extending therebetween. The first member, the second member and the arm together defining a generally U shape and a space for receiving a tow cord. The adapter body further includes a first protrusion for retaining a first portion of the tow cord and a second protrusion for retaining a second portion of the tow cord. The first protrusion extending laterally outward from the first member and the second protrusion extending laterally outward from the second member. A watercraft having a cleat adapter and a method for attaching the cleat adapter are also disclosed.

Abstract: Accelerator access control whereby an application's access to an accelerator is revoked in order to allow the system to perform a system function. In one or more embodiments, when an application is executing, a credit system is utilized to provide credits for controlled access to the accelerator. When request information is received to remove access to a credit associated with the application's access to the accelerator, the credit is marked to fail with operating system interfaces. Also, in one or more embodiments, if the credit is in use for accessing the accelerator, an effective address associated with the credit is unmapped from the accelerator.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a faceplate for a hearing device, the faceplate configured to cover a lateral opening of a housing of the hearing device and having a side which is laterally oriented when the hearing device is worn at least partially in the ear canal, including the steps of: providing a faceplate base part including a first surface, a faceplate insertion part including a second surface, and a printed circuit board (“PCB”) with an antenna; inserting the antenna PCB into the faceplate base part so that that the antenna PCB extends along the first surface; inserting the faceplate insertion part into the faceplate base part so that the second surface of the faceplate insertion part pushes the antenna PCB against the first surface of the faceplate base part; and fixing the faceplate insertion part within the faceplate base part so as to form the faceplate.

Abstract: Computer environment infrastructure compliance audit result prediction includes receiving system inventory information identifying systems of a computer environment and properties of those systems, loading security requirements applicable to systems, determining compliance deviations indicating deviations between current configurations of the systems and the security requirements, based at least on the determined compliance deviations, selecting audit features based on which a predicted audit result is to be generated, and generating a predicted audit result using the selected audit features as input to an audit result classification model trained on historical audit information to predict audit results based on input audit features, and the predicted audit result being a prediction of a result of an audit of the systems.
