  • Patent number: 8414256
Abstract: A compressor drum for an axial turbo-machine includes a hollow body generally symmetrical in revolution about its axis of rotation and forming a shell at the periphery of which are arranged a plurality of parallel rows of vanes, each row corresponding to one stage of the compressor. Each vane includes at its root an attachment platform housed in a corresponding opening made in the shell of the hollow body. The outer surface of each platform is flush with the outer surface of the shell at the edge of the opening and each platform is attached to the hollow body by welding between the outer edge of the platform and the inner edge of the corresponding opening. The platform has the general shape of a parallelogram, a bisector of which corresponds approximately to the main axis of the profile of the vane at the platform.

  • Publication number: 20110142651
Abstract: A shroud or shroud section for a stator stage with vanes of an axial compressor is made of composite material and is built in two parts, each having a series of notches corresponding to a half of the profile of the vanes, so as to form apertures that follow the shape of the vanes when the two parts are assembled. The two parts also include mutual fastening members or means adapted to ensure their assembly.

  • Publication number: 20110014041
Abstract: A rotary drum of an axial compressor having a web made of composite material has an upstream flange for fastening the fan, a segment having a sealing flange upstream, a segment with a groove adapted to receive the bases of the vane of a first row of vanes, a segment with a groove adapted to receive the bases of the vane of a second row of vanes, and a segment with a groove adapted to receive the bases of the vane of a third row of vanes. These segments are made of metallic material mostly for reasons of mechanical resistance to the centrifugal forces. The segments are connected to each other with web segments made of composite material. The ends of the metallic segments have a dovetail-shaped section in a longitudinal plane that is able to ensure a positive connection with the composite material.

  • Patent number: 7722321
Abstract: A turbo-engine stator blading is disclosed. The turbo-engine stator blading includes a crown of fixed blades mounted on a ring. Each blade includes a platform and each blade is fastened to the ring. The ring includes a plurality of individual receptacles for the each of the platforms, the receptacles being machined in the thickness of the ring, the form of each receptacle being complementary to that of the corresponding platform. By means of the receptacles, the mounting of the blades within the blading is both simple and accurate.

  • Publication number: 20070147993
Abstract: The turbo-engine stator blading of the invention comprises a crown of fixed blades mounted on a ring, each blade comprising a platform intended to be fastened to the ring. The blading is characterized in that the ring comprises a plurality of individual receptacles for the platforms, the said receptacles being machined in the thickness of the ring, the form of each receptacle being complementary to that of the corresponding platform. By means of the receptacles, the mounting of the blades within the blading is both simple and accurate.
