The pipe system includes at least one OCTG pipe having a pipe body, the pipe body having at least one connection end formed in unipartite and materially integral manner with the pipe body for coupling to a second OCTG pipe. The OCTG pipe is formed in seamless fashion from a hardenable steel alloy, and the connection end has a yield strength higher than the yield strength of the pipe body.
