  • Patent number: 5584722
Abstract: A slot connector terminal structure for an electrical wire, in particular for an electrical terminal block, in which structure at least one conductive connector part is held stationary in a housing (5) provided with a wire-insertion through opening (23) extending facing an insulation-displacement and core-retaining slot (6) in the connector part, which opening makes it possible firstly for a wire to be connected to be inserted transversely above the slot, and secondly for the wire to be subsequently held stationary via its sheath, the housing further including positioning means for positioning a special connection tool, which positioning means are implemented in the form of a projecting element through which a moving blade of the tool penetrates. The projecting element is provided with a slot (13) into which the wire-insertion through opening (23) opens, which slot makes it possible for the blade of a tool to penetrate into and slide along the slot inside the housing.

  • Patent number: 5257945
Abstract: A terminal includes a metal component held in a housing in the form of at least one connection unit having the general plan appearance of a hollow, convex hexagon split on a longitudinal plane about which it is symmetrical for the purpose of connecting a single electric wire via two parallel stripping and retaining slits. Each unit includes two support sides which project in parallel from a fixed base and each of which carries two other sides of the hexagon shaped unit. Each slit is formed between two sides that are symmetrical. The two support sides press against different mutually parallel walls of the housing via respective symmetrically disposed projections.

  • Patent number: 5192234
Abstract: A terminal for electrical equipement in which a wire is held in a wire-insertion duct between a clamping element of a strip and another clamping element constituting the bottom of a cage that surrounds the strips. The wire is held by drive from a screw with the screw being screwed into the cage and pressing obliquely against the clamping element of the strip on the opposite side thereof to its side which faces the clamping element of the cage. The clamping element of the cage is extended by an extension constituting a wire-guide which projects from the cage into the wire insertion duct parallel to the screw axis and which obstructs the duct to guide any wire disposed obliquely in the wire-insertion duct.

  • Patent number: 4904204
Abstract: An insulation-piercing connector for coaxial cables comprises a base member and a complementary bracket member together defining a conduit for a coaxial cable. The base member and the bracket member are adapted to be separated to fit around a coaxial cable and to be clamped together to immobilize the coaxial cable in the conduit. The base member is also adapted to enable it to be attached to a support. A bearing surface on the base member bears on the support when the base member is attached to the support. Terminals on the base member project beyond the bearing surface. Connecting spikes project from the base member and pierce the coaxial cable to connect its inner and outer conductors to respective terminals. A guide transverse to the conduit opens into the conduit and externally of the base member. The connecting spike adapted to connect the inner conductor of the coaxial cable to the respective terminal is removably housed in this guide.

  • Patent number: 4586843
Abstract: A device for attaching an object to a wall comprises a body with a cylindrical head centrally disposed on a base. The head incorporates longitudinal elastic members terminating in hooks. These are adapted to engage on the edges of an opening in the wall into which the head is inserted. A clamping ring mounted on the head is movable along its length. A spring is disposed between the base of the body and the clamping ring. The force exerted by this spring is transmitted to the wall so as to lock the hooks on to the edges of the opening. Cooperating guide means on the clamping ring and on the body are adapted to guide the clamping ring as it moves along the head, simultaneously rotating. Cooperating locking means on the body and on the clamping ring are adapted to lock the clamping ring in a bottom position on the head.
