  • Publication number: 20130017238
Abstract: Disclosed are oral care compositions, for example dentifrice compositions, comprising an orally acceptable vehicle, metal oxide particles having an average particle size of no greater than a dentin tubule and a polymeric adherent material for adhering the metal oxide particles in the dentin tubule. The metal oxide particles have a median particle size of 5 microns or less, and may comprise zinc oxide.

  • Publication number: 20120045402
Abstract: Disclosed are dentifrice compositions comprising an orally acceptable vehicle and at least one source of metal ions in a polymer matrix, the metal being selected from zinc, stannous, copper or combinations thereof, the at least one source of metal ions comprising from 10 to 75 wt % of the total weight of the polymer matrix and the at least one source of metal ions, and wherein the dentifrice composition comprises less than 10 wt % water based on the total weight of the dentifrice composition. Also disclosed is a method of stabilizing at least one source of metal ions in a dentifrice compositions.

  • Publication number: 20100126554
Abstract: A solar panel assembly with a first group of spaced-apart solar energy collector modules and a second group of spaced-apart solar energy collector modules. The first and second groups lie in respective parallel planes, which define an air gap therebetween, and are staggered with respect to each other. The staggering of the groups allows for light not harvested by the first row to be harvested by the second row and provides a low dead-space characteristic for the solar panel assembly. The gap between the planes and the space between individual solar energy collector modules of a same group allow for improved heat dissipation in the modules and for the solar panel assembly to offer low resistance to wind.

  • Publication number: 20070014740
Abstract: An oral composition is provided covering one or more cationic active ingredients and a cationic-compatible inorganic particulate having a porous surface that is substantially inert to the cationic active ingredient. The oral composition also has a cationic-compatible surfactant system and a carrier that is stable in the presence of the cationic active ingredient. The oral composition can be rpvioded in a dual tube or dingle tube form, if desired.

  • Publication number: 20060134017
Abstract: The present invention encompasses an oral treatment composition containing an anti-adhesion agent, preferably a cysteine protease and most preferably ficin. In another aspect, the cysteine protease is in combination with one or more ingredients, such as antibacterial agent and surfactant. The anti-adhesion agent mitigates interaction between a subject oral cavity and plaque-forming materials.
