  • Publication number: 20170190076
Abstract: A system for pouring concrete around a flexible duct assembly. The system includes a balloon deployment system for deploying and retracting a balloon system within the duct assembly. The balloon deployment system is displaceable along a length of the duct assembly and follows a level of concrete being poured therearound. A method for pouring concrete around a flexible duct assembly is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8336925
Abstract: A ventilation duct assembly kit for use for forming interconnecting ventilation ducts. The kit includes a pallet supporting a flexible panels that are shapeable into ductwork elements. Each of the panels has opposite duct-forming sides, opposite interconnecting sides for interconnection to a subsequent panel formed into a ductwork element, and a male and female interlocking interfaces respectively fixed on first and second opposite duct-forming sides for interlocking of the duct-forming sides together. The kit also includes slideable locking elements shaped to slide and fit over assembled male and female interlocking interfaces. A plurality of collets shaped to fit over the interconnecting sides of the formed ductwork elements and sized to extend between the adjacent slideable locking elements from corresponding adjacent shaped ductwork elements that are linked through the collet are also provided. A method of assembling such interconnecting ventilation ducts is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20120297607
Abstract: A coupling for a ventilation duct assembly for use with interconnecting ventilation duct elements and method of assembly is disclosed comprising a first and a second ventilation duct element formed from a flexible panel shaped and foldable into a ductwork element with a male end smaller in diameter than a female end and with an abutment for restricting movement of the female end over the male end of an adjacent ductwork element. A C-shaped collet is also provided and shaped to fit over the interconnecting male and female ends of the formed ductwork elements for interconnection of adjacent shaped ductwork elements, and sized to extend between adjacent slideable locking elements from corresponding adjacent shaped ductwork elements.

  • Patent number: 6301926
Abstract: A reservoir is screwed axially into a base, itself brazed to a collecting compartment of the condenser. It is linked to the former by means of channels recessed into the base. The threads securing the reservoir are protected from any contact with the refrigerating fluid by sealing rings and from external attack by a sleeve covering the outside of the junction area between the reservoir and the base. Applied to air-conditioning application for automobile passenger compartments.

  • Patent number: 5894885
Abstract: A heat exchanger comprises a condenser in which the lateral cheeks serving for the attachment of the condenser are replaced by the end tubes of the array, which open into the collectors beyond end partitions therein so as to be separated from the circulation of the liquid coolant. In this way, the particular parts formed by the cheeks and the positioning operation thereof are omitted.
