  • Publication number: 20080265164
Abstract: A thermal detector comprising a sensitive material having at least one electrical property of which varies with temperature; an electromagnetic radiation absorber which is in contact with the sensitive material; a substrate providing the function of support; and electrically conductive elements providing electrical continuity between sensitive material and substrate. The sensitive material is wholly or partly in the form of a sheet extending in a direction which is essentially perpendicular to the plane of the substrate. The sensitive material is suspended above the substrate by the absorber which is fixed to the sensitive material in the upper region of the sheet. The absorber is suspended by fixing means which is mechanically connected to the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20030201395
Abstract: This invention relates to a thermal radiation detection device comprising at least two detectors each comprising an absorbent radiation membrane, held in place by at least two suspension devices (S11, S12, S21, S22) connected to a mechanical anchor point and an electrical anchor point respectively, in which at least one anchor point that is common to two adjacent detectors, is a purely mechanical anchor point for one detector and is at least an electric anchor point for the adjacent detector.

  • Publication number: 20010003356
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for the detection of electromagnetic radiation comprising at least two elementary detectors (Dij), each elementary detector (Dij) comprising a first conductive terminal (pija) and a second conductive terminal (pijb) for sampling an electric signal representative of the detected radiation. The detection device incorporates first means (Iija) for connecting or disconnecting a first conductive terminal of the elementary detector (pija) with respect to a first input terminal of a processing circuit and second means (Iijb) for connecting or disconnecting a second conductive terminal (pijb) of the detector (Dij) with respect to a second input terminal of the processing circuit (Tj).

  • Patent number: 5272462
Abstract: A remote transmission device for the automation of an electrical power distribution system includes a pilot and slave mechanism of communication by on-line carrier currents using capacitive coupling of the lines of the power system as transmission support for the exchange of information and order to a plurality of breaking devices. Depending on the priority code of modems in the system, on the level of the received signal, and on the open or closed position of certain breaking devices, the transmission device breaks down automatically into several disunited subsystems, each containing a source substation to which a communication zone is assigned, whose boundaries in normal operating conditions are formed by open line switches. In emergency situations, the boundaries of the communication zones are modified by a coupling circuit which can be in a first by-pass state or in a second dual coupling state.

  • Patent number: 4352192
Abstract: A device for the synchronization of a local timing signal to permit the demodulation of a differential phase-modulated carrier in synchronous data transmission systems. On the basis of a limited signal of the modulated carrier and a timing signal whose frequency is equal to quadruple that of the carrier, a logic element circuit comprising EXCLUSIVE-OR gates and synchronized flip-flops carries out a sequence of correlations and supplies pulses representative of the position of the phase jumps. These pulses are only used for the phase and frequency of the local timing signal.
