  • Patent number: 11994022
Abstract: An electronic system is capable of assuming the role of master module before the proprietary module of the manufacturer of the SCP system, in the absence of a response to the first request from the supervisory system, or when the proposed module detects that the original module is inappropriately carrying out the PCM signal decoding. The system is further capable of monitoring new variables available at the bottomhole, regardless of the limited set of variables provided by the original module of the SCP system.

  • Publication number: 20240154974
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a system for role based access control to a computer system of a renewable power plant. The users of the computer system are assigned roles defining permissions for the users accessing the computer system when the user login and the computer system of the renewable power plant is checking whether the local role permissions dataset stored at the computer system is different from a remote role permissions dataset stored on an off-site central computer system. If the local role permission dataset and the remote role permission dataset are different, the computer system of the renewable power plant is pulling the remote role permission dataset from the off-site central computer system and overwriting the local role permission dataset; ensuring that the local role permission dataset is identical to the remote role permission dataset.

  • Patent number: 11000633
Abstract: Stents and methods for producing stents are provided. The stent includes a polymeric substrate comprised of 10-50% (w/w) of alginate and 45-85% (w/w) of gelatine and further includes a polymeric biodegradable resin for coating said polymeric substrate. The stent can also include a contrast agent. The stent can further include a crosslinking agent. The method for producing the stent includes dissolving the alginate and gelatine in water and stirring to obtain a polymeric substrate. The method also includes adding a crosslinking agent to the substrate, injecting the substrate into a mold to obtain the stent, placing the stent in a first alcohol solution, and placing the stent in a crosslinking agent solution. The method further includes placing the stent in a second alcohol solution, and a series of interchanging drying and immersing steps.

  • Patent number: 9603556
Abstract: Signal measurement for biometric recognition purpose includes a computational unit and a sensory unit designed to measure electrocardiographic (ECG) signals in a continuous fashion, guaranteeing that the biometric recognition is performed in an uninterrupted way whenever the device is used, with the purpose of enabling the automated recognition or validation of the identity of its wearer. The sensory unit has an electronic module through which the ECG is acquired. Its operating principle can be based in the electrical conductivity, in which case it requires contact with the skin of the user, or in any kind of capacitive or mechanical element, in which case it does not require any direct contact with the user. The device can be used in alternative or as a complement to existing systems that only perform a momentary identity check. It can be applied to vehicles, tablet computers or analogous contexts.
