  • Patent number: 4970843
Abstract: In a machine for packaging articles in a tubular wrap-around carrier formed from a blank having a pair of walls adjoined together along a fold line and having a pair of article retaining and blank reinforcing flaps disposed astride the fold line, and which includes means for advancing a blank and its associated articles along a predetermined path, a mechanism for engaging and folding the pair of flaps and to fold such flaps inwardly of the carrier. The folding mechanism comprises a pivotal folder `f` adapted to execute a folding movement thereby progressively to enter an aperture in the blank to fold the flaps and to retract therefrom during feed movement of the blank and the pivotal folder together through a folding station of the machine.

  • Patent number: 4502022
Abstract: Said oscillator support (1) is constituted by a connection base fitting (2) covered by a sealed hood (20), the oscillator (8) is suspended from a bracket (4) by a wire (5) and drawn towards the base fitting (2) by another wire (7) which is connected alternately to the base of the oscillator and to the base fitting at several fixing points. Such an oscillator is used mainly in satellite location beacons.

  • Patent number: 3958324
Abstract: Method for the manufacturing of thermoelectric modules, consisting in assembling a succession of alternate plates of P type and of N type separated by insulating sheets, of which one in two protrudes beyond the upper face of the assembly, the others protruding beyond the lower face. After immersion of these two faces in the brazing material to establish junctions separated by insulating sheets, the assembly is cut up into thin slices, orthogonally to the plates and one thin slice in two is overturned before the cementing of the slices together. The invention is used in heart stimulators.

  • Patent number: 3930303
Abstract: A manufacturing method of thermoelectric modules having slight internal resistance comprising very thin plates of P type and of N type stacked alternately and connection bridges between each plate of P type and the neighbouring plates of N type. The method is characterized in that after cutting out of the plates of P and N type an alternate sequence of plates of P type and of N type is formed by assembling plates, and by inserting, between two plates, insulating sheets every other one of which extends beyond the upper face of the assembly, the others extending beyond the lower face and then by immersion of the lower and upper faces in brazing material.
