  • Patent number: 9733306
Abstract: Remote evaluation, e.g., web-based evaluation, lowers the evaluation barrier by allowing an engineer to gain experience with an integrated circuit (IC) using a client (e.g. a web browser) on a remote computer (e.g., a machine remote from the IC being evaluated but local to the engineer) to activate a test set-up that is maintained at a location that is far away from the engineer.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 9, 2015
Date of Patent: August 15, 2017
    Assignee: ANALOG DEVICES GLOBAL
Inventors: Richard E. Schreier, Alexander Newcombe, Ross Willett, Andre Straker

  • Publication number: 20140298672
Abstract: A locking/unlocking mechanism for a contactless gesture detection system of a device is described herein. The locking/unlocking mechanism can facilitate automatic locking, manual locking, and/or manual unlocking of the contactless gesture detection system. The contactless gesture detection system can implement the locking/unlocking mechanisms described herein to control a contactless gesture-based user interface state of the device. In various implementations, the controlling can include detecting gestures associated with a user in a contactless space associated with the device; detecting a defined gesture sequence over a defined time period from the detected gestures; and transitioning the device to a contactless gesture-based user interface locked state or a contactless gesture-based user interface unlocked state based on the defined gesture sequence.

  • Patent number: 7460490
Abstract: A method for obtaining virtual path identifier, virtual channel identifier, and encapsulation values in an asynchronous transfer mode access device for a network using either non-static or static internet protocol address assignments and asynchronous transfer mode adaptation layer 5. In the non-static environment, a plurality of discovery packets are generated, but in the static environment, a plurality of address resolution protocol packets are generated. Headers are added to the plurality of packets, such that a first set of packets, each packet including a logical link control header, and a second set of packets, each packet including a virtual channel multiplexed header, are realized. The first and second sets of packets are encapsulated and then transmitted to a central office.
