  • Patent number: 12237639
Abstract: A broadband radiation source device, including a fiber assembly having a plurality of optical fibers, each optical fiber being filled with a gas medium, wherein the broadband radiation source device is operable such that subsets of the optical fibers are independently selectable for receiving a beam of input radiation so as to generate a broadband output from only a subset of the plurality of optical fibers at any one time.

  • Patent number: 12145400
Abstract: A wheel includes a supporting frame, with a central portion having a center around which the wheel can turn, and a plurality of radial portions extending from the central portion angularly displaced with each other. A housing seat is delimited between two adjacent radial portions. A movable element is radially displaceable between a first working position located at a maximum distance with respect to the center, and a second working position located at a minimum distance with respect to the center of the central portion. The radial portions and the movable element have respective distal sections, with respect to the center, curved with a curvature radius corresponding to the curvature radius of the wheel and being flush with each other.

  • Patent number: 10825284
Abstract: Automatic dispenser (10) of portable terminals (100), comprising a vertical body (11) having a fully closed storage area (20) including a plurality of compartments (50) for storing a corresponding plurality of portable terminals (100) to be taken by authorised users. At least one access door (25) is arranged on said vertical body (11) at said storage area (20) to provide for a selective access within the storage area (20). The dispenser (10) comprises a wireless charging unit arranged within said storage area (20) at each compartment (50) and an air conditioning system (200) configured to control temperature and humidity of each compartment (50).

  • Patent number: 10210731
Abstract: Systems and methods for a smart electronic article surveillance (“EAS”) circuit that may be incorporated into electronic devices and used to selectively provide EAS and other functionalities. Such functionalities may be provided by “sharing” large electrical components across the different functionalities, which may include passive EAS capabilities, inductive charging, and/or wireless communications. One or more software or solid-state switches may be used to selectively and repeatedly change between the wireless communication/inductive charging capabilities and the passive EAS capabilities. The EAS functionality may be provided by using a switch to connect passive circuitry across an antenna component to form a passive EAS circuit. The non-EAS functionality may be provided by using the switch to de-couple the passive circuitry from then antenna and instead, couple the antenna to other electronic circuitry.

  • Patent number: 4636914
Abstract: The invention concerns an electrical device having a modular configuration which permits the assembly thereof with other electrical accessories, such as switches, outlets and the like, within receptacles common thereto or within outlet boxes or wall plates. This device, which may be, for instance, a flashlight with a rechargeable battery incorporated therein, rechargeable by means of the electrical network, is removable from the receptacle or outlet box so as to render it portable and utilizable also independently of the other electrical accessories.
