  • Publication number: 20240115453
Abstract: A casket includes a base, opposite sides and end walls extending up from the base and a top cover. At least the top cover is formed to have a multilayer construction including a transparent polycarbonate panel and a Suspended Particle Devices (SPD) film composed of several layers and applied to the outer surface of the transparent polycarbonate panel. A bus bar includes two conductors running through the layers of the SPD film. When voltage is applied to the conductors from a battery power source, otherwise randomly arranged particles in the SPD film align themselves in the direction of the electrical field providing transparency to the top cover so that the interior of the casket can be viewed from the exterior.

  • Publication number: 20230190466
Abstract: Methods and systems for rotationally aligning a commissure of a prosthetic heart valve with a commissure of a native valve are disclosed. In some examples, a delivery apparatus can include a first shaft configured to rotate around a central longitudinal axis of the delivery apparatus to rotationally align a prosthetic valve mounted on the delivery apparatus with native anatomy, a second shaft extending through the first shaft and having a distal end portion extending distally beyond a distal end portion of the first shaft, an inflatable balloon coupled to the distal end portion of the first shaft, and a distal shoulder mounted on the distal end portion of the second shaft and arranged within a distal end portion of the balloon. The distal shoulder comprises a base portion and a flared portion that extends radially outward from the base portion, and a radiopaque marker is disposed on the flared portion.

  • Patent number: 10596055
Abstract: A casket assembly includes a floor structure, transparent side walls and end walls extending upwardly from a lower rail to define side panels and end panels, and a transparent lid attached to at least one of the side walls. A cardboard insert container made of a material suitable for cremation is sized for receipt within the enclosed casket interior. At least one of the side panels or end panels is movable between a closed position to completely enclose the casket interior and an open position to allow horizontal movement of the insert container holding a deceased human body into and out from the casket interior without having to lift the insert container over the top edge of the side and end panels.

  • Patent number: 10206528
Abstract: A round serving tray and accessory system used to secure stemware. The serving tray and accessory system comprises an arcuate sleeve that has an inner and outer part, and a top, a bottom, a first and a second side. The top inner part of the sleeve defines an arcuate cavity wherein an innermost part of the sleeve is curved upward. The outer part of the sleeve defines an arcuate shoulder, the arcuate shoulder has a top, a bottom, a first and a second side, the bottom side of the arcuate shoulder defines and arcuate opening that linearly runs from the first side of the arcuate shoulder to the second side of the arcuate shoulder. And, a round serving tray that has a raised edge, the arcuate sleeve is mounted on the raised ledge of the serving tray via the arcuate opening so that the inner part of the sleeve rests on the round serving tray.

  • Patent number: 6006024
Abstract: A method for automatically selecting tie styles used during the horizontal placement of substrate and well ties. A linear order of tie styles is determined (2422). Ties are placed horizontally in the layout based upon an initial tie style (2424). Route and compact layout components (2426). If the layout has satisfied the tie coverage rules (2428) the tie style selection process is complete. Otherwise, contacts, vias and ties are added where possible (2430). If the layout has now satisfied the tie coverage rules (2432) tie style selection process is complete. If not, the next tie style is chosen from the linear order (2434). The process continues by placing (2424), routing and compacting components (2426) with the new tie style, until the cell satisfies the tie coverage rules.
