  • Publication number: 20150203111
Abstract: A method for performing an automatic parking process of a vehicle involves offering a user a selection between at least two parking maneuver for implementing by a driver assistance system in the vehicle. The first parking maneuver is a direct parking maneuver in which an automatic parking process is performed from the start position directly to the target position along the trajectory. The second parking maneuver involves providing a break point the parking trajectory so that a user can disembark the vehicle at the break point and prior to the target position.

  • Patent number: 9026378
Abstract: A device for detecting a twist angle and/or a torque of a shaft occurring on the shaft and methods for operating the device uses at least one first encoder and at least one second encoder at a predefined spacing therefrom. Each encoder influences at least one coil parameter, is associated with at least a part of the circumference of the shaft, and has at least one track having at least one period per revolution of the shaft. At least first and second inductive sensors scan the first and second encoders, respectively. Each inductive sensor provides a respective sensor signal reflecting at least one measure for the rotational angle of the shaft within the period, and a difference ascertainment unit ascertains and provides the twist angle of the shaft as an angle difference of the two rotational angles detected by the inductive sensors.

  • Publication number: 20150088360
Abstract: An autonomous parking procedure of a motor vehicle involves transferring a command to activate the autonomous parking procedure using a communication link between an operator situated outside the motor vehicle and the motor vehicle. Before beginning the autonomous parking procedure of the motor vehicle the target position and/or last driven trajectory of the motor vehicle is stored in a storage device. The motor vehicle then performs the parking procedure autonomously from the start position using the stored data after the first activation of the autonomous parking procedure.

  • Patent number: 6902570
Abstract: A device for connecting hollow organs and/or sealing wall defects in hollow organs, has a base mounting for replacement on a hollow organ. The base mounting has at least one recess on a first surface and at least one guidetrack for at least one spiral needle in which the spiral needle is movable forwards in a rotatable fashion. The guidetrack for the spiral needle is disposed at least partially along the edge of the recess in such a manner that the track of the spiral needle during a revolution extends partially in the base mounting and partially in the recess.

  • Publication number: 20050107945
Abstract: A method for determining a journey time is proposed for a journey route for a following vehicle which is traveling in a sequence of vehicles. This method comprises the steps: journey profile data is registered by at least one vehicle traveling ahead in the sequence, the journey profile data comprising at least one travel time or data from which travel time can be determined, for a route component between two positions on the journey route, and the journey time for a route comprising the route component is calculated from the journey profile data, journey profile information which comprises the journey profile data or the journey time being transmitted to at least one receiving following vehicle using vehicle-to-vehicle communication by at least one transmitting vehicle traveling ahead. In order to determine the journey time, the journey information of a plurality of vehicles is preferably transferred to following vehicles by forming a transmission chain.
