  • Publication number: 20170260669
Abstract: A method for sewing an open end of a tubular textile item so as to make the toe of a sock or of a leg of a stocking, comprising the steps of: loading a tubular item onto a preparation mold, and flatten it to define a first side and a second side; pulling the end portion of the first side so that is elongated, with respect to the end portion of the second side, of a determined length; by keeping the end portion of the first side pulled, simultaneously blocking the two sides so as to make them as one piece; by keeping the two sides blocked, releasing the end portion of the first side, taking the preparation mold out of the tubular item, and simultaneously placing the end portions of the two sides to sewing devices, so as to make a closed toe of the tubular item.

  • Publication number: 20170107649
Abstract: A process for production of knitted articles is disclosed. The process may be performed using, for example, a linear knitting machine including a first needle bed, a second needle bed, a first jacquard bar with odd thread guides, a second jacquard bar with even thread guides, a third jacquard bar with odd thread guides, and a fourth jacquard bar with even thread guides. The process includes producing at least a portion of a knitted article by means of a base movement of the jacquard bars, in which: the first and the third jacquard bar are each moved with an identical shog movement; the second and the fourth jacquard bar are moved with a respective shog movement identical to one another; and the second and the fourth jacquard bar are moved with a respective shog movement identical to one another.

  • Patent number: 9598800
Abstract: A knitting machine, particularly with high gauge, with improved needle actuation cams, comprising a needle holder which supports a plurality of side-by-side needles, each one of the needles is provided with at least one heel that protrudes from one face of the needle holder, each one of the needles has at least one elastic flexing along its extension which determines an offset of its at least one heel with respect to the head of the needle along a direction that is substantially parallel to the actuation trajectory of the needle holder and the at least one path is offset in a substantially corresponding manner, with respect to a theoretical path of actuation of an ideal rectilinear needle with its head in alignment with its at least one heel.

  • Patent number: 9534324
Abstract: A process for manufacturing knitwear, hosiery textile items or seamless items with variable compression on circular weft knitting machines, comprising the steps of activating a program for manufacturing a textile (6); manufacturing a textile item (6); and changing the tension of an elastic yarn (9) fed to the needles (4) by a first feeding device (8) of a predefined value of variation and for a predefined number of times, corresponding to at least two times within the same knitting row during the production of the textile, so as to define in said knitting row of the textile a corresponding predefined number of distinct knitting row portions having a differentiated yarn tension, corresponding to at least two portions of the same knitting row; the step of changing the tension of such a yarn being performed independently from the knitted structure produced and also independently from a variation in the position of the stitch adjusting cams (7).
