  • Patent number: 10314520
Abstract: A system and method for collecting a set of kinematic data streams from an activity tracking system with at least one activity monitoring system that is attached to a user; segmenting at least a subset of the kinematic data streams into a set of segments according to actions of the user; generating a set of biomechanical signals from the kinematic data streams wherein a biomechanical signal characterize a biomechanical property during a segment and includes generating a first integration data set through data integration and baseline error correction across the set of segments of the normalized kinematic data stream and determining at least a first biomechanical signal that is at least partially based on the first integration data set; and applying the set of biomechanical signals.

  • Patent number: 10271773
Abstract: A system and method are described herein for a sensor device which biomechanically detects in real-time a user's movement state and posture and then provides real-time feedback to the user based on the user's real-time posture. The feedback is provided through immediate sensory feedback through the sensor device (e.g., a sound or vibration) as well as through an avatar within an associated application with which the sensor device communicates. The sensor device detects the user's movement state and posture by capturing data from a tri-axial accelerometer in the sensor device. Streamed data from the accelerometer is normalized to correct for sensor errors as well as variations in sensor placement and orientation. Normalization is based on accelerometer data collected while the user is wearing the device and performing specific actions.

  • Patent number: 10079187
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a first test structure including a first portion of a conductive structure and a second portion of the conductive structure located within a first lateral wiring layer of a layer stack of the semiconductor device. The first portion of the conductive structure of the first test structure is electrically connected to the second portion of the conductive structure of the first test structure through a third portion located within a second lateral wiring layer of the layer stack arranged above the first lateral wiring layer. Further, the first portion of the conductive structure of the first test structure is electrically connected to a gate of a test transistor structure, a doping region of the test transistor structure or an electrode of a test capacitor. Additionally, the first portion of the conductive structure of the first test structure is electrically connected to a first test pad of the first test structure.

  • Patent number: 9904692
Abstract: In response to receiving a request from a client device, a first image can be determined based at least in part on an image identification in the request. The first image may be associated with a plurality of layers. A subset of the plurality of layers can be determined. Information configured to enable a selection of at least one layer in the subset may be sent to the client device. In response to receiving a request from a client device, a composite image can be obtained based at least in part on a selection of at least one layer of a plurality of layers of an image received in the request. The composite image may be dynamically generated or retrieved from a storage device. The composite image and/or information associated with the composite image can be sent to the client device.

  • Patent number: 9906263
Abstract: The invention relates to the information transmission between a data-transmitting apparatus and a read- and/or write module, in particular for the use of access control. According to the invention, data to be transmitted is represented as a digital signal by the data-transmitting apparatus, and this signal is converted into an ultra-broadband signal by way of the spread spectrum method, and capacitively and/or resistively transferred via the body of the user to the write- and/or read module.

  • Patent number: 9890790
Abstract: A compressor component having an airfoil with a profile in accordance with Table 1 is disclosed. The compressor component, such as a compressor blade, has an increased surface area over a portion of the airfoil chord length. The increased surface area allows for a greater amount of air to be taken in by the airfoil, thus increasing the air flow through the gas turbine engine.
