  • Patent number: 11913506
Abstract: A vehicle transmission includes a hydraulic circuit and a control unit. The control unit is configured to: obtain (20) a target pressure specification; convert (26) the target pressure specification into a target volume flow rate; determine (42) a valve volume flow rate as a function of the target volume flow rate and as a function of parameters that represent system properties of the hydraulic circuit; determine (46) a pressure drop at a valve due to flow forces as a function of the valve volume flow rate; determine (48) a compensated valve output pressure as a function of the valve volume flow rate and the pressure drop; determine (58) the electric control current as a function of the compensated valve output pressure; and activate a valve with the electric control current.

  • Patent number: 11569669
Abstract: A device for connecting a first network comprising a first energy storage element and a second network comprising a second energy storage element includes switching circuitry and pre-charging circuitry. The switching circuitry is configured to electrically couple the first network and the second network. The switching circuitry comprises a first switching element configured to bi-directionally allow current between the first network and a center point node when operating in a closed state. The switching circuitry further comprises a second switching element configured to bi-directionally allow current between the second network and the center point node when operating in a closed state. The pre-charging circuitry is configured to limit current to the center point node when a first voltage at the first energy storage element equalizes with a second voltage at the second energy storage element.

  • Patent number: 10656260
Abstract: Embodiments relate to machines including a movable part. A transmitter circuit is configured to generate a radio signal and to transmit the radio signal towards the movable part via a transmit waveguide. A reflection of the radio signal from the movable part is received by a receive waveguide and guided through the receive waveguide to a receiver circuit, which is configured to determine a position and/or a speed of the movable part based on at least the received radio signal. The transmitter circuit and the receiver circuit may be comprised by a radar sensor.

  • Publication number: 20130328362
Abstract: A portable chair cover can be attached to a portable folding chair and remain on the chair. A storage pouch on the back and pockets on the sides store desired items during transportation and while the chair is occupied. A shoulder strap provides hands-free transporting of the chair with the cover attached. A removable pocket with a carrying strap is alternately used as a pocket on the chair and as a purse or carry bag for valuables when detached from the chair. A foot support cover is used on a foot support portion of a lounge and draped down on the sand on a beach chair. The foot support cover is removable for shaking off the sand.

  • Publication number: 20120230913
Abstract: Provided herein, inter alia, are protein dispersions comprising dense protein nanoclusters and methods of making the. Upon dilution, the clusters may reversibly dissociate into native protein molecules with high biological activity. The viscosities of the nanocluster dispersions may be sufficiently low to allow small-volume subcutaneous injections.
