  • Publication number: 20230186498
Abstract: Method of generating depth estimate based on biometric data starts with server receiving positioning data from first device associated with first user. First device generates positioning data based on analysis of a data stream comprising images of second user that is associated with second device. Server then receives a biometric data of second user from second device. Biometric data is based on output from a sensor or a camera included in second device. Server then determines a distance of second user from first device using positioning data and biometric data of the second user. Other embodiments are described herein.

  • Patent number: 11663736
Abstract: Method for creating marker-based shared augmented reality (AR) session starts with initializing a shared AR session by a first device and by a second device. The first device displays on a display a marker. The second device detects the marker using a camera included in the second device and captures an image of the marker using the camera. The second device determines a transformation between the first device and the second device using the image of the marker. A common coordinate frame is then determined using the transformation, the shared AR session is generated using the common coordinate frame, and the shared AR session is caused to be displayed by the first device and by the second device. Other embodiments are described herein.

  • Patent number: 11623457
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a rendering apparatus, method and non-transitory machine-readable storage medium for determining a speed of a carriage during rendering of an image. A plurality of swaths of rendering fluid are deposited on a print target using a set of printheads moving across the print target. A temperature of a curing module is measured at a respective time of depositing each respective swath. An arrival time for each deposited swath to respectively arrive at the curing module is predicted. The speed of the carriage during depositing the plurality of swaths is determined based on the measured temperature of the curing module and predicted arrival time for each respective swath.

  • Patent number: 11590958
Abstract: A method for detecting undesirable vibrations of an actuator of an electromechanical brake includes the steps of: (1) providing an electrical signal comprising at least one piece of information about a current consumption of the actuator or a parameter correlated with the current consumption; (2) monitoring an operation of the actuator on the basis of the gradient of the electrical signal in such a way that after switching on the actuator and preferably after a subsequent delay time, which includes determining: whether the amount of an initial instantaneous value of the gradient exceeds the amount of a threshold and whether a subsequent second instantaneous value of the gradient has an inverted sign compared to the first instantaneous value; (3) evaluating the results to ensure that an undesirable vibration is assessed as detected the aforementioned conditions are met.

  • Patent number: 11589909
Abstract: A graft or prosthetic element suitable, e.g., for replacing a tendon or ligament is fastened in a bone tunnel or blind opening with the aid of a fastener. In a first step, the graft or prosthetic element is press-fitted in the tunnel or opening by forcing the fastener into the opening or by positioning the fastener in the opening and then expanding it, wherein the fastener is in contact with the graft or prosthetic element and with the bone wall of the tunnel or blind opening. In a second step, the fastener is anchored in the bone wall of the tunnel or blind opening with the aid of a liquefiable material which is liquefied in the vicinity of the bone wall where it is in contact with the fastener and by making the liquefied material penetrate into the bone wall.
