  • Publication number: 20210374986
Abstract: Examples are described that process image data to predict a thickness of objects present within the image data. In one example, image data for a scene is obtained, the scene featuring a set of objects. The image data is decomposed to generate input data for a predictive model. This may include determining portions of the image data that correspond to the set of objects in the scene, where each portion corresponding to a different object. Cross-sectional thickness measurements are predicted for the portions using the predictive model. The predicted cross-sectional thickness measurements for the portions of the image data are then composed to generate output image data comprising thickness data for the set of objects in the scene.

  • Patent number: 7107049
Abstract: A system and related device emulates the behavior of mobile networks independently from the manner of collecting data about the behavior of the network obtained through a simulation of field measurements. The system emulates the behavior of the network during the exchange of information between terminals and uses an emulation device comprising two circuit blocks. The first is able to process the information according to time sequences corresponding to those of mobile networks. The second one exchanges information between the terminals connected to suitable interfaces. This architecture makes it possible to emulate uplink and downlink functions of the mobile network, displaying on the terminals the effects of the behavior of the network under various operating conditions.

  • Publication number: 20040209612
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and related device for emulating the behaviour of mobile networks independently from the manners of collecting data about the behaviour of the network, be they obtained through a simulation of field measurements. The system emulates the behaviour of the network during the exchange of information between terminals and uses an emulation device (12) comprising two circuit blocks (20, 30) able, respectively, the first to process the information according to time sequences corresponding to those of mobile networks, the second one to exchange information between the terminals connected to suitable interfaces (35, 36). Thanks to the architecture described above it is possible to emulate uplink and downlink functions of the mobile network, making perceptible on the terminals the effects of the behaviour of the network in the various operating conditions.
