    Abstract: A method of offering an incentive to a prospective purchaser of goods offered for sale through a client-server online system is disclosed. The method includes operating an affiliate host site on the client-server online system, and providing vendor information for a plurality of vendors to the prospective purchaser accessing the affiliate host site. The method additionally includes randomly generating a rebate incentive specific to a vendor selected by the prospective purchaser. The method further includes communicating the rebate incentive to the prospective purchaser.
