The operative surface may be sloped so that rainwater in excess of the capacity of the internal cavity is directed along the slope to a predetermined location. The rain collector may form a handle and a pour spout, whereby a user may transport the rainwater stored in the internal cavity and pour stored rainwater through the pour spout for a desired reuse activity.
