Abstract: Methods and systems for managing an account are disclosed. One method includes storing account information in a plurality of account records associated with different investors. The account information includes investor information, investment information, and a service option tracking entry independent from the investment information. The investment information includes information regarding a no-load mutual fund. The plurality of account records are managed as part of a database managed by a fund administrator. The method also includes receiving a service option message representing a change in a service level associated with the investor, and, in response to receiving the service option message, determining eligibility of the account associated with the investor based, at least in part, on the investment information.
