  • Patent number: 12274895
Abstract: Techniques for adjusting radiotherapy treatment for a patient in real time are provided. The techniques include operations comprising: obtaining, during delivery of a radiotherapy treatment fraction to a patient, one or more images of the patient at a first rate; generating patient motion information at a second rate based on the one or more images obtained at the first rate; receiving, during delivery of the radiotherapy treatment fraction, radiotherapy treatment device settings at a third rate; computing, during delivery of the radiotherapy treatment fraction, dose delivered to the patient with a first level of accuracy based on the generated patient motion information and the radiotherapy treatment device settings; and determining, during delivery of the radiotherapy treatment fraction, a real-time measure of accumulated dose delivered to the patient with a second greater level of accuracy than the first level of accuracy using one or more prior dose computations.

  • Patent number: 12251577
Abstract: Techniques for adjusting radiotherapy treatment for a patient in real time are provided. The techniques include retrieving a reference plan that includes three-dimensional (3D) volume representation of information for the patient and a plurality of radiotherapy beam delivery segments; identifying a first portion of the 3D volume representation of information for a first beam delivery segment of the plurality of radiotherapy beam delivery segments that includes a volumetric portion of a target irradiated by the first beam delivery segment; accessing a deformation model representing patient deformation during a radiotherapy treatment fraction; deforming the first portion of the 3D volume representation of information based on the deformation model; and updating one or more parameters of a radiotherapy treatment device based on the deformed first portion of the 3D volume representation of information.

  • Patent number: 11020615
Abstract: Systems and methods for calculating radiotherapy dose distribution are provided. The systems and methods include operations for receiving data representing at least one of particle trajectories or a dose deposition pattern in a simulated delivery of a radiotherapy plan; applying a dose calculation process to the received data to generate a first radiotherapy dose distribution having a first level of detail; and processing the first radiotherapy dose distribution using a trained machine learning technique to generate a second radiotherapy dose distribution having a second level of detail that enhances the first level of detail.

  • Patent number: 8462796
Abstract: Method for exchanging information among digital units in a distributed system, with digital units being defined by at least a master node and slave nodes, involves transferring information references from a master node to slave nodes, the information references being sampled with sampling time corresponding to a cycle time period defined by a clock value of the master node. The method also involves estimating the number of the information references sampled arrived to the slave node from the master nodes during a periodic reference time interval, and using the number to recalculate the master clock value, so that the slave nodes are able to reconstruct master node information references during a following reference time interval.

  • Publication number: 20090097504
Abstract: Method for exchanging information among digital units in a distributed system, with digital units being defined by at least a master node and slave nodes, comprising the step of transferring information references from said master node to said slave nodes, said information references being sampled with sampling time corresponding to a cycle time period defined by clock value of said master node; wherein the method comprises further steps of estimating the number of said information references sampled arrived to said slave node from said master node during a periodic reference time interval, and using said number to recalculate the master clock value, so that said slave nodes are able to reconstruct master node information reference during a following reference time interval.
