  • Patent number: 12552366
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to safety devices and systems for light mobility vehicles. In one example, a light mobility vehicle safety system includes one or more sensors and a processor coupled to a light mobility vehicle. The processor may be configured to determine that the light mobility vehicle is part of a group of two or more light mobility vehicles; determine a position of the light mobility vehicle relative to one or more other light mobility vehicles in the group; determine one or more relevant sensors of the one or more sensors based on the position of the light mobility vehicle and positioning of the one or more sensors on the light mobility vehicle; receive first relevant safety-related data from the one or more relevant sensors; and transmit the first relevant safety-related data to one or more other light mobility vehicles in the group.

  • Publication number: 20240416756
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to safety devices and systems for light mobility vehicles. In one example, a safety device for a light mobility vehicle includes a circuit board, one or more connectivity modules coupled to the circuit board, and an antenna coupled to the circuit board. The circuit board may be positioned within or coupled to a light mobility vehicle part. The antenna is configured to mitigate interference of one or more components of the light mobility vehicle part with the one or more connectivity modules.

  • Publication number: 20240185717
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to safety systems, devices, and methods. In one example, a safety system includes a safety device in communication with a server. The safety device includes a processing element and a connectivity module configured to receive object data from a connectivity device within a short-distance range. The processing element is configured to analyze the object data to determine one or more safety risks and to transmit one or more alerts or safe routes based on the one or more safety risks. The server is configured to receive entity data from the safety device, receive safety-related data from one or more data sources, compare the entity data to the safety-related data to determine relevant safety-related data, and transmit the relevant safety-related data to the safety device. The processing element is further configured to incorporate the relevant safety-related data into the determination of the one or more safety risks.

  • Patent number: 10389734
Abstract: A method and device for managing a communication message verification process in a communication system containing a plurality of nodes N1 to N9, including: a step of receiving one or more communication messages at a first node N1 of the communication system, from one or more nodes N2 to N9 adjacent to the first node N1; a step of executing a validity verification operation in relation to the one or more received communication messages; a step of determining a comprehensive verification rate parameter V_all indicating the number of validity verification operations executed per unit time at the first node N1; and a step of controlling the execution of the validity verification operations so that the comprehensive verification rate parameter V_all does not exceed a comprehensive verification rate threshold, for one or more additional communication messages from the nodes N2 to N9 adjacent to the first node N1.
