  • Patent number: 9603578
Abstract: In a method and apparatus for graphical assistance in an interventional procedure to open an occlusion of a hollow organ of a patient a three-dimensional CT image data set of an examination region with the at least one hollow organ having the occlusion is retrieved and visualized segmentation data with segmentation data of the hollow organ at a display unit. At least two x-ray fluoroscopy images are acquired at different angulations the CT image data set is registered with at least two of the x-ray images. A number of fluoroscopy x-ray images are acquired during a time period, with real-time visualization of at least one x-ray fluoroscopy image and data of the CT image data set at the display unit. The steps are implemented individually and in sequence, and control options relating exclusively to the current step can be selected manually via a user interface depending on the step that is currently implemented, and only user inputs that are appropriate for the current step are accepted.

  • Patent number: 9521988
Abstract: A method for tracking vessels in image data includes receiving a plurality of image frames and annotating a target vessel in the plurality of image frames. A plurality of tracking targets associated with the target vessel is selected based on a first image frame included in the plurality of image frames. For each respective image frame, a set of tracking points are determined according to a tracking algorithm which includes: selecting a plurality of landmark hypothesis points for each tracking target in the respective frame based on a comparison with a previous image frame, constructing a directed acyclic graph from the plurality of landmark hypothesis points, and solving the directed acyclic graph to yield a plurality of optimal landmarks for the respective image frame.

  • Patent number: 9477806
Abstract: This application discloses a computing system to provide test stimulus to an electronic device modeled in a verification environment by the computing system. The computing system can identify transactions performed by the electronic device in the verification environment based, at least in part, on messages exchanged over an interconnect in the electronic device in response to the test stimulus. The computing system can output the transactions from the verification environment and bundle a plurality of the transactions based, at least in part, on messaging relationships defined by a communication protocol for the interconnect. The computing system can utilize the bundles of transactions to determine whether the electronic device functions in accordance with the communication protocol.

  • Patent number: 9472017
Abstract: Various improvements may lead to reducing or avoiding artifacts in curved planar reformation imaging. The source of voxels used in projection rendering may be verified to be from the vessels rather than intervening anatomy. To make the check more rapid, a hierarchal data structure may be used. Rather than using the vessels, geometric forms fit to the vessels may be used. Processing with geometric forms may be more rapid than a fine mesh or surface. Since tubular structures have a predictable change over length, the geometric forms or the vessel data itself may be filtered with a monotonicity constraint. Instead of using planes for segments based on the lumen or center line, a convex hull around the tubular structures is formed for the curved planar reformation.

  • Patent number: 9419479
Abstract: An electric machine has a stator that comprises a plurality of laminations with teeth and cooling apertures about a central opening. When the laminations are stacked to form the stator core, the teeth of adjacent laminations cooperate to form slots disposed circumferentially about the central opening that are configured to receive a plurality of stator windings, and the cooling apertures angularly spaced about the central opening cooperate to form cooling manifolds that extend along a length of the stator core. A portion of the laminations has their cooling apertures offset from other laminations in the stack in a manner to create a plurality of flow paths transverse to the manifolds. The transverse flow paths extend angularly between laminations and adjacent manifolds. A header assembly directs flow into and out of the stator core.

  • Patent number: 9321197
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the production of a composite part with a multi-part outer layer and with a foam layer bonded on the reverse side to the outer layer, in particular internal cladding of a vehicle, and also to a composite part. The inventive process comprises the following steps: a) arrangement of a first skin and of a second skin with angled-off end regions on the surface of a mold in such a way that the angled-off end regions of the first and second skin have firstly been oriented away from the surface of the mold and secondly are adjacent to one another; b) application of a reduced pressure in the region of the position of the angled-off end regions, in such a way that the angled-off end regions are pressed two-dimensionally against one another; c) reverse-side foaming of the first and second skin with a foam composition. The inventive process permits the simple production of visually attractive composite parts with multi-part outer layer.

  • Patent number: 9281252
Abstract: A method includes providing a semiconductor structure. An external mechanical stress is applied to the semiconductor structure. One or more semiconductor manufacturing processes are performed while the external mechanical stress is applied to the semiconductor structure. The one or more semiconductor manufacturing processes provide one or more material layers having an intrinsic stress at the semiconductor structure. After performing the one or more semiconductor manufacturing processes, the external mechanical stress is removed from the semiconductor structure. The removal of the external mechanical stress at least partially relaxes the intrinsic stress of the one or more material layers.

  • Publication number: 20150213174
Abstract: This application discloses a computing system to implement a design verification tool and simulate a circuit design with a regression. The computing system can capture events performed by a circuit design simulated with a regression and identify that one or more combinations of the captured events covers system level functionality of the circuit design. The computing system can determine whether the system level functionality covered by the combinations of the captured events was previously uncovered for the circuit design, and generate a regression efficiency metric configured to quantify newly covered system level functionality prompted by the regression.
