  • Patent number: 9545049
Abstract: A pull-type crop engaging machine such as a rotary mower comprises a frame mounted on transversely spaced field ground wheels for movement with a hitch arm extending to a tractor and a transport assembly attached behind the frame for moving downwardly to a transport position so that in the transport position the hitch arm extends from one end of the frame generally in the transverse direction for towing the machine in the transverse direction. The transport includes a transport ground wheel which acts to raise the frame to pass underneath the crop engaging system to support the machine on the wheel, on a second wheel behind the frame and on the hitch. The movement of the hitch and the wheel is connected and started at a position of the hitch so that the machine remains balanced. A shield behind the frame includes a portion which moves with the transport wheel.

  • Publication number: 20160330905
Abstract: A mowing machine has a frame component group; a mower component group connected to the frame component group so as to be supported by it on the field in a working and operating position; and a protection and cover component group surrounding the mower component group. The mower component group has rotatingly driven cutting members. The cutting members are arranged transverse to a traveling and working direction of the mowing machine and have a rotation body that, in the working and operating position, is close to the ground and has cutting blades at the outer periphery. An active suction unit correlated with the mower component group deflects an air flow, oriented from the mower component group in a first direction toward the still standing crop, in a second direction in which the crop is no longer loaded by the air flow.

  • Patent number: 9386742
Abstract: A pull-type rotary mower comprises a frame with a transverse main beam mounted on transversely spaced field ground wheels for movement with a central hitch arm extending to a tractor and a transport assembly attached to the main beam the frame for moving downwardly to a transport position so that in the transport position the hitch arm extends from one end of the frame generally in the transverse direction for towing the machine in the transverse direction. The transport includes front and rear transport ground wheel which act to support the machine on the wheels. A shield assembly, which in the field position extends rearwardly behind the frame to engage the crop emerging from a conditioner within a center discharge opening, includes at least a portion which is moved to a retracted position at the frame to allow the rear transport wheel to move to the transport position.

  • Patent number: 8764042
Abstract: A pull-type agricultural implement has a beam with drawbar hitch pivotable relative to the beam about a vertical axis and a horizontal axis extending in the travel direction. The drawbar hitch has a receptacle for a tractor drawbar. The receptacle enables pivoting of the drawbar about an axis that is horizontal and transverse to the travel direction relative to the drawbar hitch in a locked position. Guiding and adjusting plates in the receptacle allow adjustment of the receiving width of the receptacle to different drawbar dimensions. From a first position, in which the plates limit lateral play of a drawbar with large cross-section relative to the travel and working direction to a minimum, the guiding and adjusting plates are transferrable and lockable in a second position, in which the plates limit lateral play of a drawbar with small cross-section relative to the travel direction to a minimum.

  • Publication number: 20030066276
Abstract: A mowing machine connectable to a lifting device arranged at the rear of an agricultural support vehicle has a mowing device with several rotary cutting members guided in a working position laterally on the support vehicle. A support beam has a first end receiving the mowing device and a second end with a three-point hitch with connecting locations connectable to upper and lower rods of the lifting device. A first connecting location is provided on the support beam on a side of the three-point hitch remote from the mowing device. The first connecting location is connected to the three-point hitch such that when the mowing device hits an obstacle while moving in a traveling and working direction, a pivot movement of the mowing device in a direction counter to the traveling and working direction and a lifting movement of the leading area of the mowing device are initiated.

  • Patent number: 6370997
Abstract: A transportable circular table saw having an exterior housing (1) with a tabletop (4) forming a workpiece support surface (3) that is irreversibly arranged in the exterior housing (1), and a saw unit (7) arranged underneath the tabletop (4) with a drive motor and a circular saw blade (10) protruding into the tabletop (4) from below through a saw slot (9), with the exterior housing (1) in plan view being approximately square in shape. The sawing unit (7) is slidable relative to the tabletop (4) in a pulling direction, as a result of which the circular saw blade (10) moves in the saw slot (9) in the pulling direction, and in relation to an axis of a mitre cut in the pulling direction, preferably being able to be inclined to at least one side. The tabletop (4) forms the workpiece support surface (3) and the saw slot (9), is rotatably held in the exterior housing (1) on an axis perpendicular to the workpiece support surface (3), in particular in a surrounding top (14) of the exterior housing (1).
