  • Publication number: 20230035373
Abstract: A brake dust particle filter for a disc brake assembly is provided with a housing that has a first housing side wall, a second housing side wall, and a housing circumferential wall, wherein the housing circumferential wall extends between the first housing side wall and the second housing side wall. A filter insert with a filter medium is arranged in the housing and extends along one of the first and second housing side walls and along the housing circumferential wall. The filter insert has a curved circumferential edge. The housing has a curved receiving groove. The curved circumferential edge engages the curved receiving groove. The filter insert is L-shaped and is configured to at least partially cover a friction surface and a circumferential surface of a brake disc of the disc brake assembly. The curved circumferential edge of the filter insert projects past the filter medium.

  • Patent number: 8889207
Abstract: A method for preparing hot beverages in a hot beverage machine by possibly repeatedly pumping a specific quantity of water from a water tank into a heating device, heating the quantity of water, pumping the heated quantity of water out of the heating device into a brewing chamber and possibly at the same time pumping a further quantity of water out of the water tank into the heating device, brewing a brewing substance contained in the brewing chamber to produce a hot beverage, and finally converting the quantity of water last pumped into the heating device completely into steam in a controlled manner for forcing liquid out of the entire line system downstream of the heating device.

  • Patent number: 8702906
Abstract: The present invention relates to a dewatering screen for manufacturing paper having multi-level watermarks, having a carrier mold (54) that exhibits, in a fractional region, a multi-level relief (30) in the form of the watermark to be produced. According to the present invention, it is provided that the multi-level relief is formed by an injection-molded, perforated (40) watermark insert (30).

  • Patent number: 8524039
Abstract: A screen for producing two-level watermarks is produced by completely closing part of the screen with a viscous sealing compound, which is subsequently cured actively or passively. At the thus closed partial areas of the screen, paper deposit is hindered during papermaking so that the finished paper appears light in transmission in the areas. A mask is used for exactly positioning the sealing compound in the partial areas of the screen and/or for curing the sealing compound only in the given partial areas, whereby in the latter case the uncured areas of the sealing compound are washed out.
