  • Publication number: 20240053160
Abstract: One or more routes for a mobile user between a first location and a destination are generated and provided by composing, based on data representing roads or paths between the first location and the destination, at least one route candidate having at least one route segment. To each of the at least one route segments of the at least one route candidate one or more first values representing an estimated or predicted Quality of Experience (QoE) is assigned for one or more services or applications, executed or provided by one or more devices installed at or located with the mobile user, whose function is dependent on data that is wirelessly received in real-time or near real-time. The one or more route candidates, along with the one or more assigned first values, are processed, in, or provided to, the navigation system of the mobile user, for selection or execution.

  • Publication number: 20220417065
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of estimating transmit symbol vectors transmitted in an overloaded communication channel includes receiving a signal represented by a received signal vector, the received signal vector corresponding to a superposition of signals representing transmitted symbols selected from a constellation of symbols and transmitted from one or more transmitters. Continuous first and second functions in a search space in a convex domain are defined. The first function and the second function are combined into a third function, and a fractional programming algorithm is applied to the third function, targeted to finding an input vector that minimizes the third function. A mapping rule translates the found input vector into an estimated transmit symbol vector, and the estimated transmit symbol vector is output to a decoder for decoding into an estimated transmit symbol from the constellation.
